It is still free and the developers say it will always be free! I believe they have a kofi or Patreon for any that want to contribute and a paid multi streamer service for those whose internet can’t handle pushing multiple streams at once to support their business. 👍🏻😁
If you connected the proper channel under "accounts" then it should connect to your youtube chat after a few minutes. UA-cam can take a few minutes to connect. is it showing your channel connected in Casterlabs?

Unfortunately, there’s no way to do that at the moment. The way that UA-cam is set up prevents anybody from being able to combine those
