Excellent documentation! It’s so refreshing to see independent thinking shaping architecture and art-a profound celebration of Kashmir’s soul and legacy. Excited to explore more of Zoya’s work!

So nice and kudos to the lady, who has taken up this dying magnus task in a region of India, where availability and accessibility and executability are so difficult

Wonderful...Mesmerising...I would urge the architect lady to strive to keep the heritage alive. She must strive to design and build the classic homes in and around Srinagar. The old colonial era houses, the persian soulful homes must be kept alive. (my personal favourite in such homes are the wooden staircases and floorings always give a homely, peaceful feeling...)

Today, I was studying wooden bracing walls (Diji Diwari), which play a crucial role in transferring vertical loads from the roof to the foundation. Additionally, these walls function as shear walls, providing resistance against horizontal forces, such as those generated during earthquakes. This is especially important in seismic zones IV and V, where the risk of earthquakes is higher.
    Liked the whole documentary “ZOONGASH”.

I loved this a lot. Simply amazing and beautiful. This is truly a timeless art and architecture blended with local ethos and culture. Kudos to the architect for her efforts to preserve and revive the art. Thank you Buildofy for this very beautiful video.

Kashmir isn't as beautiful as it used to be. J&K was a society of Hindu and Muslims once one community leaves.... Especially Hindus there won't be colours, Creativity, festivities....Vibrance is gone.
