My score was a #9. I think of soooo many people and what I "should" do. Procrastination and Time are my words this week. See, I just didn't want to discuss troubles and virus topics. I was so inspired by the end of Vision Forward that I committed the time and set a time boundary to keep myself safe from the rabbit hole effect. I reached out to 3 people this week and have my list for next week. Also...I know I am with the right partner! However, I could question if I am the right partner...So I am practicing better relationship tools....just in case..lol...Thanks Oprah and Team! See you Saturday!

THANK YOU! Week one was good; reinforced some things I had already started to do on my own, so it was good to see that I was on the right FOCUS path. But Week Two!!!! It hit all the nails on the head. I really appreciate Esther's information and insights, as well as Auntie Oprah's, too, of course, and Traci Ellis Ross was the sweetest icing on the cake. She has me dancing everyday, even when my knees don't want to! I'm looking forward to the remaining weeks. I am a former WW member with much success, and it's time again to get back on that wagon after these pandemic pounds have added up. This virtual tour has inspired me to rejoin. This was an amazing topic. I am alone in my very small apartment(my girlfriend told me to say "cozy"). I am pretty good at staying alone, but this time has shown me that I have not been social enough. And also, I cannot bring myself to think of something to do to really occupy myself. Am I stressed out with this situation? not as much as many people. But, I feel like I am clueless as to what the next step should be for me.

I'm from London and I need some super soul Sunday. It's not available here.
I have to cook every night during the week and my husband, God love him, cooks on the weekend. He is not the type to say "This is a great meal" and so I prompt him and say things like "Isn't this a delicious dinner honey?!" and he always then says thank you. He's a naturally quiet person so I don't take offense. His love language is giving gifts, not words. I've/We've learned how to not get annoyed with each other but to be respectful and loving.
Sounds like my husband. I would always say " I Love you!" and he would say, "I love you too." I always asked him, "Why don't you ever say it first?" So I have stopped saying it, and it has been 3 months since either of us has said, "I love you!" He is a retired psychologist!

I think this is so taxing on our relationships because its taxing on our psyche's. Middle class and below folks are used to a certain amount of uncertainty in trying to maintain a work-life balance and keeping the checkbook balanced. We (human race) are essentially at war with a virus not another person or country and no one is exempt. Struggling to survive financially while confronting the concept of mortality and not having social outlets really upends our self-concept which in turn affects how we relate to others including family members. When the world is going through catharsis there are growing pains. That's not even factoring in the millions of people who have been infected or lost family/friends/co-workers. Anyone not changed by this pandemic is either extremely lucky or really obtuse. Even conspiracy theories are signs of distress trying to make sense out of chaos.
