when i watched mark pollard waggler fishing he used a quick change swivel for his hook length as he said stops the spin in water on the retrieval and can change hook lengths easier

I had a good session on the pellet waggler myself the other day & not mega easy but my fantastic fishing skills got them slurping up in the water. They would not take it hanging in the water always after i had just casted in or given it a quick jig & boom would hook one caught around 20 carp & had others on the pole .
PS i was testing a quick change hook link swivel so i could change my hook length quickly. But not sure if it impacts the presentation .
I’ve used them but obviously sink quicker when using them !!

Have adopted wagglers and is highly effective on clear lakes, but have yet to successfully transition to heavily weeded lakes.

Not necessarily, depends on the make! Maxima 4lbs is 0.17.

Used a matrix pellet wag rod ,guides weren’t fitted correctly in line with parabolic action would not cast straight always threw float to the right after a couple of fish it broke when a good fish was in netting range ,took it back to anglin direction and got my £100+ back I now use acolytes far superior rods
Sorry to hear you had a bad expericence but we've sold thousands of rods and not had any issues with rods not casting straight, could there have been other factors on that day? wind, float, mainline etc?
