Coming from a railroader again Jeff. The independent brake bail-off is used to release the brakes on just the locomotive(s) when the entire train line (automatic brake) is in any service mode outside of full release. is very helpful when you are trying to stretch-brake a train to prevent slack run out when getting it moving again. It's also a good way to build adhesion when getting a train moving. Similar to getting a car moving from a full stop when your parking brake is still applied
Putting the independent handle to bail off while releasing the brakes is fine. IRL bail off is when you push the handle downwards. Once you let go it will return to the normal release position. Bail off is used when applying wagon brakes. Applying wagon brakes will also apply the loco brake. 'Bailing off' the independent will release the loco brakes so the wheels don't skid and will keep the loco coupler stretched.
The baby bullet is amazing, the bell on it is amazing, there is a breakdown scenario involving the baby bullet service, something about the HEP failing and have to terminate the service and bring it back to the depo I believe
I got TCW2020 yesterday and have been playing it nonstop. Did not expect to enjoy it as much as I do! Although I must say, the UI is very confusing in my opinion.
it is fun but I agree the ui is sloppy. takes a while to get used to it why doesn't anybody make manuals for games anymore? you have to come to yt just to learn to play the game

Can you do another video on this TLC I just watched a train simulator gameplay video and you can actually set up the front engine which Train Sim gameplay does after hooking onto the stalled train and then uses the front logo to pull it back to the yard so I would enjoy seeing Matt
Love the videos, Jeff. I don't get why Dovetail chooses to release the MP15DC DLC and the Baby Bullet DLC's separately. Between them the gameplay is minimum but together the gameplay is okay for a DLC. Maby it's just me that has become more disappointed whit the new DLC content for TSW. Like with the Canadian National DLC where Dovetail, chooses to trow attention to details out the window by filling the map with European trucks, like what the hell. I have even been to Canada and surprise, I didn't see any European truck such as a DAF there, but according to Dovetail Ontario much be full of them.
CH The reason they probably didn’t release the baby bullet and the mp15 together will probably be for money reasons. I’m not sure about other countries but in Australia a loco add on is just under 30 Australian dollars, so they will obviously prefer you to buy them separately

Most large cargo trains use red diesel the same as off-road equipment use witch is a tax free road diesel that all trucks use

On the independent brake, its spring loaded. You go all the way into bail off and it springs back to release.
