In fact the broom machine you see in the video was the very last one they made by The Baltimore Broom Company. I even went to Baltimore to help tune the machine to sew right (the machines are very tricky to set up and maintain).
The machine was $30,000 US dollars. We don't sell the machines. It was made by the Baltimore Broom Machine company. They went out of business. You can still buy similar machine that are made in Italy.

That was the last broom stitcher The Baltimore Broom Company built (I even went to Baltimore to help set it up and fine tune it at the end of the build, not too many people can fix the new or old ones, it's not easy as you know I'm sure). It cost us $30,000 dollars. They are now out of business. We were a state run operation for the blind in Massachusetts for 106 years and we too have closed by the Governor Patrick to "save money". That machine was donated to a similar blind operation in the state of South Carolina, who still makes brooms. The machine made in Italy is the only other machine I know of or have seen. We had three of the old Baltimore Broom Machines, that were scraped many years ago when broom sales dropped off and this one new machine could produce what we needed to fill our orders at the time.
