Yeah i got mine today but so far im not sure what to say about the smell lol doesnt smell like anything in particular. Just smells old to me lol i guess I'll have to wait until it macerates a bit.

Oh my hibiscus magic was just that for me! It was magic and breathtaking when I first sniffed. I owned a small 5 ml of og and I’m very satisfied with my magic!!❤ 😊

Hi Arahi excellent comparison! I’ve sampled the Maison Crivelli but have not pulled the switch on a FB. I guess it’s sort of nice when the dupe houses miss the mark: perhaps shows us that there is some artistry and uniqueness in niche perfumery after all? Will be interesting to see if maceration changes your POV. PS agree, smells nothing like BR540 😉

No I had never tried hibiscus mahajad. I'm pretty sure the one I got dose have to sit, it actually kinda smelled like something burnt. I ordered brown sugar as well and that smells like gasoline. So I sprayed them out put them back in there boxes and will give them a month or so and check back.
Oh Carrie please don't forget to let us know how these fragrances evolve.... that burnt smell is a true sign that it needs to macerate! Please be patient! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I was really curious about hibiscus Magic despite not having smelled hibiscus mahajad. but after listening to your review it seems both are not up my alley. if you ever get the chance to have your hands on khadlaj empire victor or afnan cherry bouquet i would love to hear your thoughts on it. empire victor is apparently an inspired by kayali vanilla oud. while cherry bouquet is similar to duchessa gritti. again, much love❤

I don’t know if you caught that video but I actually have Jo Malone Yellow Hibiscus and it is radically different, to say the least, from Hibiscus Magic and for sure Hibuscus Mahajad! This is not a safe blind buy at all as Hibiscus Mahajad is quite complex! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just got a bottle of hibiscus magic, I compared it side by side with the OG, these two are 90% similar, the only difference is that the OG is spicy but the dupe ain’t spicy outside that is a spot on dupe. Thanks

Hello! Mild floral tart scent is how I would describe what I get on my nose! But in this fragrance I think there is some kind of extract to it because it is pronounced to my nose! Maybe they used some sort of additive or perfumery chemical that gives it that extra umf!!!! Now in tea I don't pick up much either.... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
