I'm not sure if this will work on wrath classic worth testing but something thats done on the private server scene with divine sacrifice is a cancel aura macro to stop the damage redirect but keep the damage reduction on all other players in your raid. Since its two separate buffs for the damage reduction and redirect damage. just push the button twice once to activate the spell another to cancel the redirect damage 😎
Steam Tonk Controller for Hunters is so incredibly useful. It has a few unique effects if macroed properly. You can instantly dismiss and then resummon your pet to your location (I there there's a slight delay, but its not big). You can use it to insta-heal your pet back to full and clear any debuffs or DoTs on it. You can use it to properly position your pet in a fight that requires a lot of precise movement (Lurker Below, Felmyst) or to get it through an impenetrable barrier (like Kalegos, if you get unlucky on the pull). It also doesn't cost you any pet happiness and it keeps its buffs (food, scrolls, party buffs)! Honestly its kind of busted how useful it is. Its practically an exploit, though it doesn't bother me (in raids especially) due to just how bad the pet AI is and how easily they just drop dead instantly. Obviously it doesn't resurrect a dead pet or reset its cooldowns, and I don't think it refreshes its energy either. But its still super useful to the point of being almost essential as a trick.
Steam tonking your pet works in TBC but seems like on the Wrath beta it's not usable in combat. A similar effect can be achieved with Elixir of Dream Vision though which does work in combat

For hunter you can also dismiss pet by letting it sit and despawn it by outranging it.

As an undead you can even combine eating, drinking and cannibalize which is pretty good in PvP situation where you need to heal up quickly midcombat.

The food & water for mage can be paired with a frost shield. Then you're always protected against that 100% crit crit while doing your regen
