One of my all-time favorites. The Zeta Gundam style atmospheric re-entry level with the falling colony from the previous level suddenly parallax scrolling into the background at its climax is just perfect.
Without a doubt, one of the best arcade shooting games of all time. And truly one of the most underrated shoot-em-ups ever designed. This would play well on an XBox One and Playstation 5 game 🎮 console

Iirc in the saturn magazine issues one of the bustergears would have shown up as an enemy in TFV

I see this and can't help but think "Decepticons built by humans." It's still a really cool premise.
The fact you can have a "squad" makes this a bit better than Metal Slug.
