- How to make a Light Bulb Vase. This DIY demonstration video shows how to empty out an old light bulb and make a cool home made vase, using a wire coat hanger for the stand, and then using an LED keyring to illuminate it. This great hack is an easy craft idea and a fun way to recycle and hollow an old lightbulb.

Once you've opened up the bulb, you can wash out the cloudy frosting on the glass by filling it with soapy water, adding some salt for abrasion, and giving it a good shake.

I did this If you don't want to(or don't have the led lights) you could just fill it up with water and some food coloring and it looks really awesome. its a very creative peice of art to keep around
