I just tried this in a mini can. The minute I opened it, it reminded me of my mom's old Christmas mulberry candles. It tasted the same - like floral berry cough syrup. I could still smell it after i poured it out 🤢
When I tried this flavor my taste buds were like ye haw!

I never liked any of the "weird" Coke flavors, but this was pretty good. The "raspberry and spice" flavor is subtle, but it's noticeable enough. I've only tried the full-sugar version and I'm not sure about how pronounced the flavor is in the zero-sugar version.
After two sips in it got nasty

I would have really liked just a straight raspberry coke flavor. As far as the spiced part I really miss cinnamon coke. I got some coke spiced to try hoping I like it better than you did Tony.
I love it and think it’s incredible. Great in a vanilla float.

Happy I could save a life
I picked up the Zero Sugar and full sugar versions today. I have pretty much cut out full sugar sodas, so I had high hopes for the Zero Sugar. Let me preface my comments by noting I absolutely loved Pepsi Holiday Spice from around 2000. I even liked the Mountain Dew Fruit-Quake. Took a sip of the Zero Sugar Spiced and it was like drinking a Raspberry Pepsi Holiday Spice. I absolutely loved it. Raspberry really lingered after a couple sips. For the full sugar version, it seemed the spices overwhelmed the Raspberry. I thought it was ok but the Zero Sugar really hit with me. This won't make it as a permanent flavor. It's way too niche. What they need to do is just bring back Cinnamon Coke. I absolutely loved it. That would be my exception to cutting out full sugar. Or Lemon Coke. And bring TAB back as well. Loved the Pepsi Fire slurpee.
I love your review on this but I actually enjoyed this new Coca-Cola Spiced drink.

I'm in the UK and I've observed that UK sodas, because they're used with real sugar, have a "smell" in the sense when you smell a coca cola you know what it is. I've bought a couple of imported sodas, both American versions of coke, Mountain Dew etc; mostly due to the variety of flavours you have over the UK, what I've noticed is there's like a weird after taste with the US stuff? across the board. I can only imagine it's the high fructose corn syrup that you use in lieu of sugar?
I like the real sugar best myself

i think you shoudnt have put it in ice since a point you made was it tasted watered down and it could be the ice that's doing it.

I agree about it tasting like cough syrup or some sort of artificially flavored kids medication; all I got was something sweet and maybe artificial cherry or berry but I couldn't say it was Raspberry even though I knew it was supposed to be Raspberry.

First time trying the new coke spiced also. My first thoughts. I was born in the 1970's, I know what dish soap tastes. I am a Pepsi fan 100%. Coke spiced was not worth the dish soap after taste I'm left with.🤢

Disapointed. I love getting Raspberry Coke from the freestyle machines. The raspberry flavor is too small on this. I wish they could just release Raspberry Coke in cans.
They stated, "Raspberry notes." That way, they could give us this stinker and get away with it.
I remember the good ol days when the names of the soda told you what was in it, like cherry coke and Vanilla Coke.
Me, too. KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid. They forgot. I'm miss the lemon Coke. Good thing I can get it in the fancy fountain machines at some of the fast food places.
@@oldnerdreviews2 of my top 3 sodas of all-time are Lemon coke and Pepsi Twist. I always get Lemon Coke from the Freestyle machine. The Raspberry Coke in the Freestyle machine is the version they should release.

I could not taste the rasberry, the after taste was like eating a spruce tree. Yuck!
I had imagined in my head what this would taste like before I bought it and was pretty much spot-on. I do not like it at all and was very disappointed. Seems like this is trying to have that prune Dr. Pepper taste and failing miserably...🤮

Your rants are great. These bizarre blends keep people talking about Coke which is the point these days. Brands cannot sit on their laurels. I guess you have 5 to give away now. If they want to increase sales start selling “Coke ‘69” or something that is real sugar and has the McDonald’s Coke flavor. Send me my check Coke.

My theory is they wanted to do just a raspberry Coke…prior to its release a Coke executive even said that the idea for the drink came from seeing how popular raspberry flavor is in the Coke freestyle machines…but they ended up cutting corners on the recipe in the name of finding something they could cheaply mass produce. When they realized the raspberry flavor wasn’t very good, they decided to call it “Coke Spiced” instead, hoping the bogus inclusion of some unnamed “spice” would attract younger consumers

Oh no, Coca Cola seems to keep continuing on their train of suckage. They should’ve made Starlight a permanent. It sounds like their raspberry juice made the soda flat, I was expecting cinnamon as well 🫠
