the frost bit my skin uncovered by the torn clothes i donned as i searched endlessly through the snow- for some small glimmer of hope that i couldn’t find elsewhere - yet to endlessly search for joy in a world void of such a thing is that a stupid choice? or is it worth searching for rare treasures in the hope that one day, just one day you’ll acquire them? although, in the end most fail to find it the hope they’ve been looking for all their lives- still, people always think they themselves will succeed, don’t they? im that kind of person, even if it’s futile, im always tirelessly searching for true happiness and always finding myself in the seemingly darkest places; where you’d imagine no hope to be. but it can’t be helped, can it? -E
