Not gonna lie i just got a little emotional, this band brings back so many memories. My sister and our friends chillin in a basement listening to Kittie, Hed PE, SOAD man those were the days.
YEAR WAS 2000, MY FRIEND SENT SOME CDS FROM AMERICA AND I WAS IN NEPAL AT THE TIME...ONE OF THE CDS WAS COLLECTION OF BUNCH OF BANDS AND ONE TRACK WAS BRAKISH FROM KITTIE. I FELL IN LOVE WITH BAND N SONG...THEN I SAW THEIR POSTER AT THE SHOP BUT DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY....NEXT DAY SOMEONE ELSE BOUGHT IT...I WAS PISSED....THEN I MOVED TO AMERICA N WATCHED THEM LIVE IN 2012...BADASS BAND ON SO MANY LEVELS
I remember they opened for ozzfest. A guy on the internet told me they were planning on jumping me at the Mountain View show. Never panned out, not sure if they knew 😂
Was a fan growing up. After watching these docs and other footage, I kinda realize Mercedes is insufferable. Either way, I think they were such an awesome band for the time growing up, with a forever memorable sound and videos and I hope inspired a lot of people to go for it themselves.
Well, you can't have two bands that can't pronounce Samhain. But this is from a channel that doesn't know there was never a decade called the 90's. Maybe our educational standards have fallen. Pearl Jam was a late 90's band.
Its pronounced SOW-WEN (which in itself is debatable, but nevertheless nothing similar to samhain), and yes, obviously Samhain was a band well before your time. Also, so was Swans, in fact those are two of the best bands ever. Kittie was a horrible name, part of why you were never taken seriously. True story, my ex in high school looked identical to Mercedes in the picture on the first ablum.
