Great episode. I love the footage of Christchurch. I hope to get there next year. Thank you for suggesting patterns. It’s very helpful! Good luck with your online shop!😊
Enjoyed your latest pod cast Lisa loved your walk around the City Art Centre looks so good Pleased you shared the book with the viewers as there are some beautiful knits in there using Jamison and Smith yarns I look forward to seeing your new yarns and thought the Lady Catherine Hat was beautiful
Wow! You have created your own Woolley Thistle! So happy for you. I was excited today to see that my two favorite podcasts had new episode up…you and The woolly Thistle 🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@UnwindandKnitwithMe I joined the Frivolous and Frugal Tuesday night Zoom knit along, Wednesday lunchtime NZ time, and Dawn said she watched your last episode!! Do you watch them?
Another superb episode Lisa -thanks heaps. I have been waiting for the right wool to knit the A. Mowry's Stripe jumper - BOUM you came along. Just a wee side note, hubby is an academic but in his spare times he realised one of his "little boy's" dream and drives the Christchuch trams. He was all excited to see your wee tram snippet at the end 🤩
Wonderful! That's so nice to hear about your husband, the trams are one of my favorite things to see when i'm in town. My friend has just done a swatch in Exmoor sock for Stripes and it looks amazing and the fabric is gorgeous. I will post it on Insta and Facebook over the next couple of days. Thanks again for your ongoing support of my podcast.
Hi Carolyn, thank you for your order, its on its way. I look forward to see what you are going to knit with that beautiful colour combo. Happy knitting.
Hi Lisa from NYS. Lovely episode today. I too have had moments about whether to slip markers or not before increases (ex. PetiteKnit pattern). You have inspired me to move the Winters Beach Cardi to the front of my que. It looks intimidating, but I really want the sweater. 😉 Your daughter is very lucky to have such a talented and generous mum. Have a great fall. 🍁🍃🍂🌾
Hi Paula, My advice for winter beach cardi is to use life lines regularly, I forgot to mention that on my podcast but I did make a few mistakes and it's a big project to pull out with so much cable and pattern, so use life lines. It's worth the work and i'm excited about casting a new one for myself.
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦. I love Jamieson and Smith, but have an awful time getting gauge...I will try again though, since I'd love to knit the Mirabel dress 🥰. Another use for the pool noodle...when I'm blocking a shawl that is too large for my mats I fold it over the pool noodle so as to not get a crease
Hi Sandra, thanks for sharing, i have my Fjolla block now with the pool noodles in the sleeves. I don't knit many shawls but will remember your advice when i do.
Loved your walk around the Avon and the historical buildings of Christchurch. Seeing all the destruction in Ukraine makes us appreciate our relatively young-in-comparison buildings even more. Inspirational knitting and pattern suggestions as always, Lisa. I'll try stranded colourwork one day, but in the meantime I'm enjoying the new Skeinz Southlander Marl DK, in a mix of lovely colours. Wearing my beanie made in the colourway Korokipo, all pinks, purples, green, delicious. Knitted flat and seamed because knitting the decreases in the round I found really fiddly, but I appreciated your showing the tiny Chiaogoo tips and the two cable lengths, I'll try again.
Hi Patricia, i'm glad you enjoyed my walk around Christchurch, I really believe I live in a beautiful city and it's been exciting watching it redevelop. Enjoy your knitting, we are spoilt for choice of beautiful yarns.
Enjoyable podcast as always Lisa and lovely to see those buildings which I recall from a visit 3 years ago when Christchurch was generally looking a little 'bereft'. I can see changes already and realise how important for everyone there to see this beautiful city recovering. You sure come up with some inspirational ideas and although in OZ I have also long admired John Arbon's yarns - his 'Devonia' range is also stunning. Don't know if you have seen Andrea from 'Fruity Knitting's' latest podcast where she interviews Marie Wallin who discusses how John Arbon encouraged her to also have Zwartbles wool in some of her range - it has a striking effect I think.
Hi there, our city sure is looking good. I plan on getting the Devonia range of yarn from John Arbon textile, it will take me time to build my range but its on my list. I will catch up on my podcast viewing and watch that episode of Fruity Knitting. thank you for supporting my podcast.

Hi Sam, I'm really excited to cast on another winter beach cardi in Appledore DK. I hope it gets delivered today or tomorrow.
