Another reason for their training aside from the mark is that even if the other demon slayers don't kill much demons they will atleast survive against the fight with muzan cause we know how big of the problem muzan and upper 1-3 are

Curious fact: Ufotable decided to add scenes of obanai's breathing because originally the reveal of his breathing style is the last to be revealed and is the furthest away.

Bro Mitsuri during the scene when she was literally doing the sound effects to describe the mark to everyone literally brought me flashbacks to the scene when Tanjiro was like “Boom! Boom!!” when trying to explain total concentration breathing to Inosuke and Zenitsu, like those two are literally a circus. But also seriously when I went to see it in the theater when it came out I really enjoyed watching the scene when Obani and Sanemi were using their breathing techniques on those demons, like it was so well done both with the animation, the music and ofc the talent behind their voice actings. But now as we’re approaching the big storm of the Infinity Castle Arc, im worried about how this seasons going to end but im really excited for Hashira Training especially seeing the rest of Hashira interacting with the characters

We’re officially in the calm before the storm everybody!! Sanemi and Obani fighting and using their breathing styles was so cool to watch especially in the theater when I went to go see it with my partner back in February
Obanai is the definition of "It's all in the wrist", it was such awesome opening scene for sure and the rest of the episode brought back the vibes... uh it's so good to be back.
I like the comparison between Upper moons and Hashira. Kokushibo and Gyomei are both have that over the top aura to them scaring everyone

It wasn't the life or death situation that triggered the appearance of the marks, it is IF the body can withstand the requirements and not die due to said requirements. That's why he said "wether you survive or not, is the difference between those whoe manifest it and those who don't". That's also one reason of the hashira training, to physically build the slayers to withstand such requirements.
To me, it's still incredible that Himmel and Genya Shinazugawa are voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto still .
