One of the discussions made me think how it was different for gamers in social setting back when arcades was booming. Arcades was a place to meet and compete after work. The ipads and mobile game advances found a way to disconnect rather then connect people.

i have read that they want to see about 10% utilizations....
and it really only "counts" at statement time...
so you don't want to pay it down to 0 before the statement comes out...
if you pay it down to 0 before the statement comes out, it will just count as 0% utilization which also doesn't help build credit...

It's not "banning", a lot of countries don't allow dual citizenship. You have to choose your citizenship as you reach certain age, and as a Korean male citizen you are required to serve military and if you don't ofc you will be arrested like all the other Koreans in Korea.
It saddens me that the majority of the young Korean male dual citizens miss out on South Korea. I know a lot of Korean female dual citizens who love being in South Korea. South Korea allows dual citizenship when a person reaches a certain old age (60?). And there are dual citizen Korean males who've entered South Korea at a young age. Kids don't have to choose their citizenship yet.

some banks/credit card companies are really stingy with increasing credit...
i mean $5000 could be spent by a single trip to Korea just for the flight + room and board...
which is very inconvenient (1st world problems i know)
that said, to a degree, you can always pay down the credit card to free up some credit... not ideal, but if that's what you have to do...
They are not banning you, it’s your fault for not denouncing Korean citizenship. Of course they will arrest you when you go in because by law, if you are Korean male, you have to serve the military. You waited too long, I think you have to denounce it before 25 or something. Should’ve been more careful and looked into it.
I think it's also because he revealed his dual-citizenship. I know a number of dual citizen Korean male adults who've entered Korea without any problem because they never revealed their dual citizenship. Now when I say don't reveal dual citizenship, don't reveal the Korean side. The Korean side would've broken the law by dodging conscription.

@porcorosso4330 so its if u want denounce the korean citizenship you need to serve first. it was cuz people would buy citizenships from third world countries to avoid the draft, and then come back to korea to work with a visa. It was becoming a problem, so they just got rid of that loophole of if u wanna stay or work in korea u have to serve, or else stay in your country of citizenship that you chose. And since people who bought the citizenships usually dont want to stay in the country they bought it from, it decreased the problem.

I came here legally and my Korean passport expired on my 18th birthday. A lot of paperwork to get exempted, so if he goes through all that, he can go back to Korea. I believe females can have duel citizenship. At one point of I had alien registration card from both Korea and USA.

You don't get banned. You get taken into the military after a few months of staying in Korea. How do I know? Cause I'm also in the same situation and I go back to Korea all the time.
