dude i want to know when ponytown raters shut up about shading because like they dont shut up about shading and they also dont accept other styles of making ponies other than the very specific style most people have
i agree. like whenever i was in a rating line this person asked me to shade the shit all the cos/ocs i made it frustrates me... it honestly makes me feel bad for the ppl who responded "i dont wanna." just let them have their own style.
FOR REAL. I normally use very very bright/neon colors for my ocs and like when i shade i also use neon colors to do the outlines so and people always says to not put bright colors and cool it down.. It's my style and if i wanna make it super flashy then i can like don't comment how i style my ponies 😭
I think most pony town raters just rate on how they see your oc and not like how the oc flows in its own way yk like as if there're 2 types of rating 1. like what do you think about this oc or something like they sometimes critque about the colors even though they go together 2. I really dont know what this is but like its where the rater have like a mindfullness of the oc like they only critque on how the oc goes like its flow and vibe something like that
Once I hosted a rating line in pony town and someone got a group of people, and harassed me, EXCUSE ME, IDC IF YOU ARE ANGRY WITH WHAT I GAVE YOU, BE GLAD IT WASN'T 0/10 D:< (They said that I should 'host rating lines by giving advice' I wasn't hosting a advice line, I was hosting a rating line, I wonder how many people they have triggered ;-;) *New fear unlocked* (P.S, I GAVE THEM A 8/10.)
I was looking at a line of ponies getting rated, but I didn't know they were getting rated so I just looked at them from behind, and someone came up to me and said, "raters line is closed pls leave" and I was confused so I just sat there, and they said "no rating 4 u leave" and I realized what they meant n I was SO EMBARRASSED..
the Real ponytown rating experience is going in with a pony you just made and getting nyothing but hate then going in with a rlly crusty pony from 3 years ago and getting tons of high ratings (this has happened to me before but it doesnt happen as much nyow cause i learned a cool trick for doing outlines)

That's their opinion but idk if u tryna fix it but don't change, your style are good although they think it wasn't good but pls don't send any hate on them cuz this is their opinion, i also see this experience happened until the drama happened, a guy who report them for giving them a 7 cuz he think their style are bad though it normal or good, until i told him that's their opinion but he didn't care then he accused me of hating on "gey" though i didn't said that. I tell him where's the proof but he keep leaving or rejoining and gave false proof then ran away without giving me a proof.
