I am thinking, the makers of Moonknight definitely want a second season and thereby maybe the storyline begins as Khonshu reveals Marc about his third identity and then Marc will have to accept being his avatar once again.

I will admit. Seeing teases of Jake throughout the episode but not seeing him, it didn’t click that the post credits will have him in it. First response is someone saving Harrow to tease the next season, until I saw the cap then I knew who it was. I know a couple of Jake Lockley in the comics as a taxi driving tough guy but I wasn’t expecting Lockley to be like he’s in the mafia. Then again, Steven was more a suave millionaire in the comics instead of a wimpy museum worker, so I shouldn’t be surprised if Jake really is in a mafia.
When he spoke Spanish and I saw the leather jacket I thought it would be Robbie Reyes setting up Midnight Sons

Jake Lockley is i think just overprotective for his buddies and he’s willing to do anything to protect Marc and Steven.

If you have other options (knocking them out etc) but choose to simply kill innocent people to achieve your goal, you’re not morally ambiguous anymore imo.
Harrow’s followers are fair game. They chose their paths. But they never showed Jake’s victims to be anything other than random dead hospital workers. So why assume anything else?
Finally, we get to witness all the bloody, gruesome and grotesque scenes from Jake's character.

If their just setting Jake up, this means they will need more Moon Knight to further establish the character. Basically almost confirming a S2 to give JL some more screen time. Another thing to add is that Jake appeared as a cliffhanger. Further cementing a possibility of a S2. Of course the rest of it is up to Kevin Feige, Oscar Isaac and the team behind Moon Knight. Honestly Moon Knight is my favourite character and I definitely hope to see more content focused on Moon Knight.

Moon Knight has been entered into the Emmy's as a limited series. Oscar Isaac has also only signed one season of the MCU. No movies no nothing. Sorry bud, we won't see Moon Knight ever again

Why are people saying Khonshu is a villain? He's one of the only Gods to even care about humanity. How many countless lives do you think Jake saved by killing Harrow & banishing Amett? Also, Khonshu wouldn't let his avatar kill innocent people, so those nurses that were killed aren't innocent.
In the credits, there is a bit where we see the Moon Knight and Mr Knight costumes, but right before that we see another Knonshu related armour. Which I think is Jakes

So far it kinda seems like each alter in the show is taking on different aspects of fighting styles that Moon Knight has in the comics.
Marc = Military trained, use of gadgets, and the crescent blades
Stephen = The metal dual batons/truncheons
Jake = The more reckless/ruthless fighting style that Moonknight is known for, and that Taskamaster hates. Probably uses guns more, and whatever is around him to his advantage. "Random Bullshit, Go!"

Khonshu is very much an old style god like you would think of Zeus and the Olympians. He does what he wants and has his own agenda because he can. There is no right or wrong, good or evil.
We don't know anything about the hospital worker he killed. Maybe it was an unjustified murder. Maybe he did something horrific that Khonshu and Jake know about but we don't. There's not enough evidence for any assumptions
I finished watching ep 5 and it really shed a tear for me.

It would've been cool to see this scene play out after being introduced to Jake Lockley:
We see Jake walking down the streets of London at night when he hears some strange noises coming from an alley. Jake walks over there and comes across a strange sight: a vampire getting ready to bite down on someone.
The vampire and his near victim notice Jake. Marc takes over and dons the suit which scares the vampire into fleeing. Marc then chases the vampire across the rooftops of London, similar to how the jackal in episode 2 chased Marc. Throw in a cool shot of Marc showing off his cape with the moon in the background being covered by him and his cape.
Marc catches up to the vampire. As he is about to execute him, a knife from above is thrown at the vampire who then disintegrates into ash. We then hear a voice that says "I've been looking forward to meeting you, Mr. Spector."
Marc then looks up at the direction of the voice and we see the voice himself: Mahershala Ali's Blade.
Imagine if this show was r rated and we got to see what jake did when he controlled marc

i reckon yep. that's why jake was only involved in the fights twice. couldn't be overly obvious, otherwise marc/steven would suspect.
It would not surprise me if Marc and Steven find out that Khonshu knew that Jake was the one who he could have as his avatar while making Marc and Steven think that they were Khonshu's avatars.
It was already foreshadowed on the end credits, when they show different kind of masks of moon knight, one has bondages on his face with a hood = mark's moon knight, one with all black face in a hoodie = which I think jake's moon knight, and then the mask with no hood = steven's moon knight.
I think Marc knows, but thinks he has him under control. Bc when Marc & Steven finally met face to face after dying, they found another one of those body coffins. I'm assuming that was Jake. And Marc didn't want to bring him along. Plus Marc knows that the slaughters weren't him or Steven. So maybe he's trying to in a way protect Steven from him.
Ironically in the comics for a brief time, Marc was the unstable one and Jake was rational go to guy. At one point, Moon knight actually had to bury Marc deep down in a mental hole and could only use Jake as a civilian identify.

One of the best character introductions in the MCU PERIOD. My only complaint with it is that it's a post-credit scene and not part of the actual finale which would've been more satisfying to pay-off all those Jake Lockley teases and Konshu and Marc's minuplative relationship by showing that the former still kept controlling them.

While this is setting up another season, this would actually be the perfect ending for the entire story. It’s a twilight zone twist, it it shows konshu to be the monster he is and shows that Marc isn’t truly free.
My biggest complaint is that it’s too sympathetic to the the personalities. It feels too much like they are real people and not enough like he is crazy.

@@kingjay27911 Consciousness generally makes something "real". Alters are capable of their own feelings, own opinions, own experiences and own personality. While most of us only have one identity, they are many. The host may be what we see, but the alters are just as "real" as the host. All parts make up the person, thus all valid, all are equally real. Hope this makes sense

When we dream, our brains produce different personalities that fill our dreams enviroment and plot. We are not in conscious control of the words they use or the actions of people in our dreams. That happens subconsciously.

I know this might seem like a bit of a bad connection, but think about it. At the end of Episode 5, Mas Alla Del Sol plays, a Spanish song. Jake Lockley speaks Spanish. It was a bit of foreshadowing.
