His use of leather and brass is inspiring. I wouldn't be caught dead at the galas without my new boot knife at the ready.
You can see a pattern in the way he retains a knife or a tool in its holster..... Extremely far from normal and I love it¡! 😊 Keep killing it man..... Amazing workmanship and creativity¡! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Genius! I was thinking the hole was something to do with the heat treatment but wow! That’s insanely good idea. Another great video. Also - awesome boots! Gonna have to get me a pair of those!
The paper thing, the arm shave, cutting a burrito is all well and good, but today I saw a video of a guy slicing cleaning though a 2 - 3 inch diameter roll of blue jean denim. Now, THAT was pretty impressive.
Got a new pair of Urban Loggers from Nick's last year, they are the most comfortable boot/footwear I've ever owned, they fit like a glove could wear them to sleep in after a 20 hour day.
What a blessing to have such a creative mind. I would’ve never been able to come up with this concept, yet after seeing it come to fruition, it makes such sense. Not sure where it falls on the practicality scale as I simply carry a pocketknife. Nonetheless very enjoyable to watch the process come to life. Thanks for sharing.
выбор материала для лезвия очень хорош но после закалки нужен отпуск иначе будет крошиться.рукоять из кожи(как и из бересты )нужно сжимать очень сильно перед установкой иначе она розлезется со временем,а так все хорошо зделал
That is such a creative design! Only thing I can think to do differently would be instead of having the hole I would have a slot instead to remove slightly faster in a more fluid motion.

Seriously. Who shapes with a bandsaw? Awesome job!
Seeing Jimmy freehand on the bandsaw really is inspiring
@@ktulu193 As is the crooked pinky he has when he cut off a portion of it...safety first! LOL!
The man can do anything with a bandsaw. Happy to say I’ve watched him work his magic on the bandsaw in person!
Personally I think freehand shaping brass with a razor blade on a lathe is the cooler one he does.
Jimmy
Reflecting on all the cool things Jimmy has made from back in his small shop to where is he now. Always a joy to watch these creative and cool builds.
I love this classic knife shape! Boots look pretty comfy too. Thanks for sharing!
As a maker, and a knifemaker, I am doubly impressed!
