I’ll be staying in ERICA this upcoming semester, so thank you so much for this tour to get an idea of how much space there is! One question though, if it isn’t much to ask, how many bags/luggage did you bring?
Hi Diana, I brought a regular backpack and one big luggage (for reference it’s a samsonite size L). I recommend you to take only the essential as you can buy almost everything over there anyway. However I came back with another luggage to bring back all the stuff brought there. I brought as well the luggage in Seoul (buy it last minute so you can get tax refund at the airport). There is washing and dry machine inside the dormitory so no need to overpack either !
@@365Gokotta oh! That’s great then! I might bring a carry-on not full, just in case if I overbuy when I get there🫣 Thank you for the info! Oh, just another tiny question, what plan/sim did you buy for the Korean phone number?
I'm currently studying at ERICA for a semester and I'm still trying to figure out how to receive a package. Do you know if there's a guide online? Because the banners around that station are all in Korean 😅
i'm the incoming student of hyu erica. may i know if they provide kitchen space for students? their dormitory information says they provide communal kitchen but im not sure if its up to date or not since most dorm tour videos i saw on UA-cam did not mention about the kitchen.
During my stay, it was closed due to Covid restrictions. I remember the kitchen for Muslims was open but it was filthy from what I heard. Ultimately, it wasn't more expensive to eat outside in the cafeteria or restaurant around the campus (if you eat Asian food) as grocery shopping can be costly in Korea. There are a lot of choices so besides the cow milk, it is doable if you have food restrictions too.
@@365Gokotta When did you study there? I'm also going to be an incoming student of hyu erica, and whether or not to stay at the dorm is currently my big struggle. Did you like living there even though (as far as I can read) there is a lot of rules and restrictions

My question is: if I'm interested in this, can I do go there as an exchange student without knowing korean? Is it doable?
