Everybody is talking about how Dream has Technoblade in his recommended, but nobody is talking about the fact that Dream has Dream in his recommended.
If you make a lot of videos that are really popular and you also watch content related to those videos there's a high chance your own videos will get recommend
It’s probably because most youtubers (big or small) watch their videos just to double check there’s no problems with it
he probably just watches his own videos back after he uploads them to make sure nothing went wrong

Many things in manhunts can't be SCRIPTED, due to RNG. Mobs spawn, chest loot, I don't know what else

This looks like it would be hell to stage. I’m not a huge Dream fan, but I’ve watched the manhunts and I know how scripting and staging stuff works, and it looks like staging it would be harder than actually doing it randomly.

I mean, he gets to make some content out of it as well as promoting the video itself (although there are a ton of dislikes on the video now). He didn't really hate it, more like annoyed

It’s annoying to get your work accused of being fake, but it’s also satisfying to get to point out how the accusations are wrong

@@googlesucks925 not that they’re entirely correlated, but they found out Dream had been cheating on a number of his speedruns, as he was using a plugin that increases blaze rod drop rates. It was a whole fiasco. Obviously, he claimed it was an accident, which may be true, but to me, it makes it very difficult to believe him in terms of some of his other content. It’s a pretty serious thing to cheat in speedruns without being sure as to whether or not you have DROP rate plugins active.
It was a plugin they had been using for some of the other challenges they do actually.

I feel like techno would win that, even tho Dream is most likely able to gain distance using his movement through surroundings, but the advantage techno has in being the hunter will be bigger, and both their skills in pvp are basically equal

I can see some parts where people could think that the videos are staged, especially the parts where dream gets down to half a heart and manages to get away some how, even after like half an hour if chasing. But every reaction sounds genuine to me, so unless dream confines it himself, I'll continue believing the videos are real. (Also this is not to say that everyone else has to believe, people can have their own opinions and think whatever they want about Dream's manhunt videos, this is just my opinion)

I don't think that any of what happened in the manhunt series was staged. HOWEVER, i'm a little suspicious about two things:
1. When Dream built the portal in the void above the nether, the hunters all had prot IV armor and were saying they should just wait for him and kill him when he gets out, then George out of nowhere said they should go in and fight him, and somehow they were all aboard and risked getting killed in the nether and eventually got trapped.
2. In one of the hunts Dream had only 3 hunger, and 1 hay bale, and half a heart, and it cuts away to him having full hunger and full health. 1 hay bale can make 3 bread barely enough to fill the hunger meter, but even if it does, it definitely won't regenerate full health
PS: these are not considered staging but they might be just tweaks to make the manhunts more entertaining

Nahhhhhh, there's no way Techno is the 5th hunter. I'd imagine that a Dream/Techno manhunt would play out similar to how Illumina's did, with just the two of them against each other and doing one round of being the hunter and one round of being the runner for each of them.

The guy has clearly never played a manhunt with the plugin before, otherwise he would know that the compass doesn’t update unless you hold and right click it, and as a hunter you don’t check it as often as you’d think because you have other things to worry about.
I’m not at all supporting his accusations but I’m pretty sure their compass updates automatically

In the beginning Dream is usually trying to get distance on them, they don’t usually expect an attack, especially early game
@@baycnn4700 the compass points to dream the last time they've updated it. in older videos it's more obvious and im assuming the plugin hasnt changed since. in his old videos (pre 1.16) when he makes it to the nether it does not point to the nether portal, the last place he would be in the overworld, it points to where he was in the overworld the laat time they updated it.
@@baycnn4700 it doesnt update automatically that's why in most manhunts when he get lava achievement and about to enter nether they say to mark his location or something along those lines and same in older manhunts when he would actually beat them to the end they'd mark his location before he went in
