WHOA!!!!!! I've been suicidal for the past 3 months, well having thoughts at first and then almost falling in love with the idea. I recently moved from one state to another and it was the most difficult transition. I felt like I failed my wife and my children and my Father and brothers. My finances were stripped and I was immobile for weeks. I never lost faith, The Lord has brought me through tougher things before but for some reason I was in a downward spiral hanging onto a single thread, which was my faith that " Jesus, I know you will bring me through this but i'm losing strength and i'm terrified" I made it well known with those close to me what I was struggling with and was honest about it but I was seriously terrified that I was going to do it. I started forcing myself to press in, listening to worship music almost 24/7. During a prayer time and singing " The Lord is in this place " I broke. This 9 month experience cracked my psyche for the good, I have had a complete mental change and fee newer than I have ever felt. The power of worship is incredible, it allows the spirit to work. That seriously was one of the toughest battles I have ever endured. This song is so perfect and I love the words because there is no other place i'd rather be! Glory to Jesus! My wife said that the twinkle and spark in my eyes are back and I am experiencing an incredible amount of joy. Thank you Lord for saving and never forsaking me. Thank you for healing my heart and my spirit. These new songs are just so beautiful!

Those exact words, 'press in'. Those are the words that I feel like God ministrred to me with a few months ago in the midst of this great anxiety. Recently, I've been going through this period where I'll worship but feel like I'm alone, but struggle with having faith that He hears me anyway. But I felt led to worship with this this song. The same thing pretty much happened, except I saw your comment and it reminded me, to press in. We are fighting a war but God is so in control that this war is not only won but it's also working towards strengthening us. To Him be the glory, because He never fails. And thanks for sharing. I surely believe that God allowed you to go through that for a reason. He allowed it but gave you the grace to come out from the other side. And now it's a testimony

Courage, I've been through this myself. I later realised that I didn't have the right understanding of God's love. Because I felt like a mess, and guilty for always letting Him down, coming back to Him and spending time was harder. But that's the thing, he always has his arms open for you, He takes pleasure in you even when you don't spend time with him. You're so precious to Him that, if you would have been the only one saved He would have still find it worth it to die. What I'm saying is that, when you understand his love for you, and the fact that he never judges you, that's what motivates you to spend time with Him, because you just love being with him, as a person, as your best friend and father. And for Him, it's a always a pleasure to spend time with you, even if you don't always know what to say in the beginning haha. I Hope this will help ❤
I'll be praying Avery. Being a christian doesn't mean you will never sin, but it means you will be forgiven even if you mess up and that Jesus' blood covered us. Continue to spend time with God and do what you know to do and praying that the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom and discernment to do or understand those verses. I've dealt with my own sin issues, but the more you realize and learn just how much, rich, and deep God's love is for you it helps you get closer to Him, but also your desire to sin in an area of weakness weakens. Keep pushing forth and speak words of life and encouragement over yourself. Find some verse and declare them over yourself. Each word in the Bible is God breathed and there is a power that never dies from it. Use it to speak over yourself. It may not happen over night, but continually renew your mind with those scriptures and speak it over yourself every day. One I can think of for you is "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, " -Romans 8:1 Another thing that can help is focus on God instead of the sin or a struggle you may have. For example, prayer and worship are great to do and use during those times or listen to one of your favorite worship songs. I'll be praying and I know you will grow and get through this :) enjoy your day and God bless you and your family!

Thanks for sharing that powerful testimony of how the Lord Christ has restored us. This song allows me to see how much I need the Lord in my life on a daily.
