Ran into a nice guy from Southern India in the Frankfurt airport. We talked about rock and metal for a while and he told me to look you guys up. Damn, India's got talent for good music. Everyone will know about this band when I get home.
How can they get recognition when less than 9% of our country speaks English? Most people connect with a language they recognize. They would have gained amazing recognition if the lyrics were in a regional language. Look at Raghu Dixit, Vasu Dixit, Avial, Agam - they sing in their own mother tongue - they have amazing recognition and are quite popular. The point is, they end up making good money to support themselves and continue writing music. It is meaningless when vocals are so beautiful and lyrics are not understood by 93% of our own country. How do you expect people to buy their albums? English is a foreign, colonial-era language - no one cares about it, except people like us who live in cities and obsess over it. I can't understand what he is singing too - it is not natural for me to understand English. The song would have had a deeper impact on me if the lyrics were in any regional language, but it isn't. In any case, I'm here for Baiju Dharmajan's guitar playing - that I can understand.
i am proud to say that i saw them live.. and they were absolutely mindblowing!!! it was back in 2011!! i have always supproted them and their music has influenced me.

My dad played this loud on Rose bowl channel when i was a kid..Suraj bro and baiju chettan ❤❤.My dad passed away but he still lives through the music in me.listening to this masterpiece (mindstreet was his favourite work btw) gives me my dad's presence ❤❤❤.

I live in Malaysia but I've been exposed to some really great Indian Rock since I was 20 years old and this is like 18 years ago through Rock Street Journal and I've heard some really great prog rock there. I really don't know what has happened to all those great musicians. Probably all married and gotten day time jobs like me. What a shame! You guys are extremely talented. Please keep at it and never give up. Don't regret it like me at my age. Best of luck! and I am fan.
..in my opinion this band has everything ......and they know what their goal is.....a musical salvation..... an undenyable truth that , how far you run.....your soul rests even on a single string in the tradition and the culture you're born, like a spiders web hanging on a single mother string which lies metres away from the web..... appreciate it.....clap hands and pray for the almighty ....they'lll rock this generation , then and forever.....
And today we have kiddie band like thykudam bridge in kerala...no offence to thykudam..they have few good numbers..but as a band it can't be compared to Legendary bands like Avial or Motherjane who were far ahead of their time....
