- The Taliban held a grand military parade at Bagram Airbase to mark three years since their recapture of Kabul. The event showcased a variety of military equipment, including Soviet T-55 and T-62 tanks, U.S.-supplied Humvees and UH-60 Black Hawks, and Indian Mi-24 helicopters. The parade featured heavy machine guns and armored vehicles, drawing an attendance of 10,000 men, with no women present.
