For anyone using a USB Microphone you can still achieve great quality. Yes, a good microphone will give you an advantage but the majority of your quality comes from your mix. Our F*** Love preset demo was recording on a $30 USB mic, mixed with Adobe Auditions stock effects...Adobe Audition offers lots of free voice effects that you can mix your music with. Adobe Audition is my go to DAW & today ill show you guys how you can achieve a great mix for your vocals even if your using a cheap microphone. Ill be using my $100 Blue Yeti USB microphone to record some rap vocals & then we'll use Adobe Auditions stock effects to mix them. These effects can also be used with melodic vocals as well.

use de noise effect (light noise) Gain +1 db Amount 30%
keeps getting better & better needed this!
eq has been a hard one to master for me so your vids reallly help out with that.

im a old school soul bro lol i still use adobe audition 3.0, is it worth the upgrade or should i just stick with 3.0
I also used an old version of audition and I can say yes and no. My school supplied me with the newer version and I like the display a lot better because it is very clean. The only major bonus I think is they have autotune in there which is a good free effect that comes with Adobe because my old Auditon did not have. I think the best thing is to look into it more and see but it doesn't add too much more and you can still use this software like anyone else. The files are also interchangeable from the old version and new as I have switched between the two to test it out

@@KelliMusic Like why you choose the settings in the compressor etc., so we can apply them to our own voices (just copying your settings won't do the trick I guess)

I love it man. It has its own pre amp in it...You can record with all your effects live with no latency, hearing the compression, autotune etc...thing is beautiful, I think it was worth it. Don’t get me wrong you can make good quality music without it on a USB mic, but it makes everything so much easier & fun to. Specially with the live effects.

i cant even recored a raw track on multitrack with an instrumental , its delayed , latency , I've been trying for ages
It sounds insanely awful for me. Im having the exact same mic and obv. program. Rapping nearly like u from the voice highs and lows and it still sounds very bad...

dynamic processing and ghrapic equlizer is adding a lot of noise in the track pls help
Because it’s bringing your vocals out...it’s amplifying what your recorded. Get in a better spot to record, like your closet or something. You need silence in your room, no reverb or echos. Keep your gain under 50% maybe like 30% ....Also make sure none of your cords are touching each other, that can cause noise.
Cut and fade between vocals aswell.

when i plug in the yetti it doesnt run through my interface. cant hear the music and vocals at the same time. any tips?

Hey I love the video but im having some problems. Do you plan on uploading a tutorial for the latest version of the software? Cause a lot of windows look really different and they really changed for example the EQ effect and im just having trouble because there is no way to match your settings.

I just went out & purchased the blue bluebird. I use to have it years ago & no other mic has gave me that same sound. I love it....but be careful, each person has a different voices. It could sound great with me & bad with you. I have a higher, thinner voice & it just captures it well Imo.
