Religions know only to separate humans. They never talk about unity or oneness. On the contrary spirituality will tell you that a person is blind or poor because of our sins ( sins done by all of us including the blind poor). Spirituality will unite us. Spirituality will see us as a single entity. Spirituality will ensure equality. The sins or rewards will be distributed and not given to one particular person or section of people. பள்ளிகளில் ஆன்மிகம் பேசலாம்.. ஆனால் மதங்கள் பேசலாகாது... Don't introduce religious thoughts to young minds.. let them follow spirituality... Let them be united...When a rape and murder happens let the young minds feel that as a society we have failed to save a girl. If any disaster happens it's not action of single person. It's karma of all of us. Start feeling the oneness.

The movie concept of hero and villain taking universal acceptability is such an apt example in human expectations as default value judgment of goodness. Wonderful example !! Ironically, they don't get upset branding every human child as inherently degraded and sinful. Dear Ganesh Few days back, a preacher called Mahavishnu, had preached about karma theory. ---- There is a handicapped teacher in that school. He had said that he has been so handicapped because of his sin in previous janma and talked in the sense that, such sinned people need no mercy. He went on saying, a mantra is there, which can cause Agni varsha. The mantra was in palm leaves and got destroyed in course of time. There is a mantra on iteration, one can fly. and so on. --- A tamil teacher questioned the preacher. She was suspended by principal/or some other authority. ----- Now as of 7th Sept, the principal who had given permission for such preacher as guest. ---- TV channels are airing that, article 28 of constitution, prohibits religious teaching in schools. ----- MY TAKE ON THE SUBJECT (Based on karma theory) A jeevan takes birth either as animal/asura/deva/nara sareer as per a tiny part of ones past karma which are in crores and crores. Nara janma is possible only when the released karma bunch to be more or less 50% each of papa and punya. Otherwise, mruga if too much of papa or deva if too much of punya. The combination of bunch of papa punya is not in anybody's hand, not even under the control of ESHWAR The marginal difference of 1% / 2% among them itself is the reason for big distress or joy in this life. The degree of sin varies from person to person. Just take the example of Mandavya muni. He was put in implaement (putting a rod from bottom to top until a person dies) The story tells that because of yogic power he survived, when he was taken out by cutting the portion of extended portion from body got all iron transformed into bones. WHEN HE ASKED YAMA DHARMARAJA, ABOUT THE TORTURE FOR HIM LIKE THAT, YAMA REPLIED THAT HE HAD HURT IN HIS CHILDHOOD, THE CREATURES LIKE ANT BY PRICKING WITH PIN. So for person moving upwards (towards gyani), a small sin (gyanata/Agyanata) can bring a big punishment. So, by pointing out a distressed person, one cannot judge, for what he was punished by GOD, like this handicapped teacher. So, it is really disturbing to hurt the sentiments of a handicapped teacher, as one can not judge, what sort of enlightened person, he was and for what sin, he had been born so. ------ I have mentioned a long again and again, about my prayer to LORD AYYAPPA and how he answered. When I took first pilgrimage, (to Sabari hills), I prayed for vidya abhivridyartham, (not for any specific field, but had a desire, that my son be atleast a graduate). Bhagwan answered with a seat in IITR for Raghav. The next year, next pilgrimage also with the same prayer for second son, not only that good source of money by brother's will, for the education expenses of my sons. That year Mahesh did not get IIT, but got into IITK, next year with better ranking than Raghav. The third time after 5 years, took victory pilgrimage with prayer for vidya abhivridyartham for children and brahma vidya abhivridyartham for ours. This time Raghav became gold medalists After marriage of Raghav, Raghav had indicated some problem in marma-sthan, to his mother, and when it reached my ears, I prayed, LORD AYYAPPA, that, I will bring my son also to your sannidhi and cure his pain. Within a week, my prayer answered and Raghav mentioned relief, [Of course, I completed the yatra with Raghav that year]. This year we actually planned to undertake pilgrimage to our Kula deiva temple at village, Simply as a ritual, without any specific prayer. Got the news of Apoorva, pregnancy, immediately thereafter. This year, we will not be able to undertake the pilgrimage, so I will give some alternate way to do Avahanam in a local temple and offer our lighting lamp in a specific manner with rice atta , gud and ghee in Patiala itself. ------- ONCE (before all these pilgrimages) when, I was unemployed, questioned LORD Ayyappa, (who is also called Dharma-Shasta) what sin, had i done in past janma to be unemployed, eventhough with good qualification and suffering. (The mere introspection itself made me to take vrat without food for 5 days) and thereafter, I had continuous dream for 18 days, playing with Lord Ayyappa, a game of Kabbaddi (earlier name satu-gudu). On 18th day (ie, swapna in 18th night) I pronounded satu gudu as Sat-guru Ayyappa, Sat-guru Ayyappa. On that day during my bhajan to Ayyappa (in swapna) sang, Bhajanam mama jeevanam, Ayyappa bhajanam mama jeevanam. On uttering such word, Ayyappa asked me, are you really practicing it, like unja-vriddhi and subsisting by bhajan. When I said NO, Ayyappa told me that, THIS SORT OF LIES ONLY YOU HAD BEEN UTTERING ONE, DOING OTHER (i.e. No Arjavam) THUS LORD AYYAPPA INDICATED ME ABOUT MY PAST SIN (not exact ones but by similarity) --- Regarding pilgrimage to Sabari hills, on third pilgrimage, I was unintentionally, stading near the gate of special darshan, and I along with another person, were allowed by sentry there to have special darshan, I had special darshan of Ayyappa, ghee-abhishekam to hearts content, (no jargandi by sentry or crowd/ Only myself with a sense to join my group outside, made me to come out after a few minutes). Raghav had further pilgrimage thereafter. ----- Surdas, was born blind, How a person like mahavishnu dare to point to blind/handicapped people of great sins and does not need mercy. We say in sanskrit "yathottar muninaam pramanyam" - the munis that come later have more validity (as they have new evidence/methods/knowledge available at their disposal. Now through various studies we have knowledge about aetiology genetics, epigenetic causes of biological origin. So now we do not need to assume the unknown "daiva panchamam" factor if we have better causal explanations.

Few days back, a preacher called Mahavishnu,
had preached about karma theory.

There is a handicapped teacher in that school. He had said that he has been so handicapped because of his sin in previous janma and talked in the sense that, such sinned people need no mercy.
He went on saying, a mantra is there, which can cause Agni varsha. The mantra was in palm leaves and got destroyed in course of time.
There is a mantra on iteration, one can fly. and so on.

A tamil teacher questioned the preacher. She was suspended by principal/or some other authority.

Now as of 7th Sept, the principal who had given permission for such preacher as guest.

TV channels are airing that, article 28 of constitution, prohibits religious teaching in schools.

MY TAKE ON THE SUBJECT (Based on karma theory)
A jeevan takes birth either as animal/asura/deva/nara sareer as per a tiny part of ones past karma which are in crores and crores.
Nara janma is possible only when the released karma bunch to be more or less 50% each of papa and punya.
Otherwise, mruga if too much of papa or deva if too much of punya.
The combination of bunch of papa punya is not in anybody's hand, not even under the control of ESHWAR
The marginal difference of 1% / 2% among them itself is the reason for big distress or joy in this life.
The degree of sin varies from person to person.
Just take the example of Mandavya muni. He was put in implaement (putting a rod from bottom to top until a person dies)
The story tells that because of yogic power he survived, when he was taken out by cutting the portion of extended portion from body got all iron transformed into bones.
WHEN HE ASKED YAMA DHARMARAJA, ABOUT THE TORTURE FOR HIM LIKE THAT,
YAMA REPLIED THAT HE HAD HURT IN HIS CHILDHOOD, THE CREATURES LIKE ANT BY PRICKING WITH PIN.
So for person moving upwards (towards gyani), a small sin (gyanata/Agyanata) can bring a big punishment.
So, by pointing out a distressed person, one cannot judge, for what he was punished by GOD, like this handicapped teacher.
So, it is really disturbing to hurt the sentiments of a handicapped teacher, as one can not judge, what sort of enlightened person, he was and for what sin, he had been born so.

I have mentioned a long again and again, about my prayer to LORD AYYAPPA and how he answered.
When I took first pilgrimage, (to Sabari hills), I prayed for vidya abhivridyartham, (not for any specific field, but had a desire, that my son be atleast a graduate). Bhagwan answered with a seat in IITR for Raghav.
The next year, next pilgrimage also with the same prayer for second son, not only that good source of money by brother's will, for the education expenses of my sons.
That year Mahesh did not get IIT, but got into IITK, next year with better ranking than Raghav.
The third time after 5 years, took victory pilgrimage with prayer for vidya abhivridyartham for children and brahma vidya abhivridyartham for ours. This time Raghav became gold medalists
After marriage of Raghav, Raghav had indicated some problem in marma-sthan, to his mother, and when it reached my ears, I prayed, LORD AYYAPPA, that, I will bring my son also to your sannidhi and cure his pain.
Within a week, my prayer answered and Raghav mentioned relief, [Of course, I completed the yatra with Raghav that year].
This year we actually planned to undertake pilgrimage to our Kula deiva temple at village, Simply as a ritual, without any specific prayer.
Got the news of Apoorva, pregnancy, immediately thereafter.
This year, we will not be able to undertake the pilgrimage, so I will give some alternate way to do Avahanam in a local temple and offer our lighting lamp in a specific manner with rice atta , gud and ghee in Patiala itself.

ONCE (before all these pilgrimages) when, I was unemployed, questioned LORD Ayyappa, (who is also called Dharma-Shasta) what sin, had i done in past janma to be unemployed, eventhough with good qualification and suffering.
(The mere introspection itself made me to take vrat without food for 5 days) and thereafter, I had continuous dream for 18 days, playing with Lord Ayyappa, a game of Kabbaddi (earlier name satu-gudu). On 18th day (ie, swapna in 18th night) I pronounded satu gudu as Sat-guru Ayyappa, Sat-guru Ayyappa. On that day during my bhajan to Ayyappa (in swapna) sang,
Bhajanam mama jeevanam, Ayyappa bhajanam mama jeevanam.
On uttering such word, Ayyappa asked me, are you really practicing it, like unja-vriddhi and subsisting by bhajan.
When I said NO, Ayyappa told me that, THIS SORT OF LIES ONLY YOU HAD BEEN UTTERING ONE, DOING OTHER (i.e. No Arjavam)
THUS LORD AYYAPPA INDICATED ME ABOUT MY PAST SIN (not exact ones but by similarity)

Regarding pilgrimage to Sabari hills, on third pilgrimage, I was unintentionally, stading near the gate of special darshan, and I along with another person, were allowed by sentry there to have special darshan, I had special darshan of Ayyappa, ghee-abhishekam to hearts content, (no jargandi by sentry or crowd/ Only myself with a sense to join my group outside, made me to come out after a few minutes).
Raghav had further pilgrimage thereafter.

Earlier it was an unknown factor so daiva had to be invoked and explained through the theory of karma.
We say in sanskrit "yathottar muninaam pramanyam" - the munis that come later have more validity (as they have new evidence/methods/knowledge available at their disposal.
Now through various studies we have knowledge about aetiology genetics, epigenetic causes of biological origin.
So now we do not need to assume the unknown "daiva panchamam" factor if we have better causal explanations.
