It’s truly my pleasure Bryan, thank you for watching!!
That's funny I lost sleep last night, had a sunfish in mind to paint and did so this morning. Then I saw your video. Very nice.
Amazing! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching
I like it, one of the better bluegill paint schemes I’ve seen done! Good Job!
Thanks Mark! Means a lot!
Awsome job. Pumpkin seeds drive me crazy. I only do them in batches of 50. So many color changes will drive me up the wall lol
Oh man I 100% agree!!
Love the way it came out. Cool bait. What blanks are you using??
Thanks! I got these off AliExpress I think
Nice Sunfish pattern, and Very Informative Video, I like the way You used resin to modify Your stencil, Question ? How do You test your paint to recreate the colors in a picture ? I’m struggling with painting a Bluegill pattern because of wrong colors, What would You suggest, Thanks for Sharing
Thank you very much! As far as testing the paint, that’s a big question. And unfortunately not a question that has a single answer but I’ll try my best. Before using any colour on a lure test it out on paper first-this way you’ll learn how it sprays. Any subsequent colour will go through the same process but for these colours I suggest a small overlapping with the previous colour to see if/how they react and look together. Over time you’ll learn the characteristics of the paints you have. Hope this helps, if you want more info feel free to ask. Good luck!
This one was much more intricate than usual. How do cut the Mylar stencils? I tried with a razor but my edges always get rough and it shows on the paint……
Thanks, I just use a sharp hobby knife with a low hand angle, nothing unique. Maybe try rotating the knife in your fingers to get smooth changes instead of moving your entire hand?
Looks great!
Much appreciated!
