Clementine has a magical timbre that makes me all emotional 😭♥️ What an artist.
I only heard this song for the first time on this recorded live performance. Her voice sounds so unique here from her other more metal-sounding VoA songs and honestly I love it. I love her singing voice when it leans into softer themes and operatic themes. It's more tender, emotional, and also carries a touch of etherealism and vulnerability. I always prefer songs that showcase the voice that is not drowned by the instruments and this one is just perfect for Clementine. I hope to listen to future VoA songs that will have more of this quality.

I notice how elegantly dressed a lot of Symphonic Metal singers are. Clementine is always utterly elegant. Dianne Van Giersbergen and Laura Macri too. I wish American popular singers could take a hint.
