I love how in this, the performance is quite clearly just Lage and Eldridge hanging out playing the music that they love. To imagine them in a wooded cabin doing the same exact thing with no audience is a wonderful image to imagine
Much too long since anyone has posted to this incredible performance. Such a joy to just sit and listen without distraction. Like the old days putting on an vinyl LP.
So true
Julian on an acoustic arch top with Chris singing SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME is really special.
I guess im randomly asking but does someone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly forgot my login password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Antonio Colton instablaster ;)
It's so much fun to watch these two guys play together....I think they inspire each other and they have a great time when they're playing.

Anyone know what tune Julian plays at around 43:00?
I think that's called "Fake Standard" or something like that . . . I'm having trouble finding it anywhere, but i know I've seen him play it before (I think in concert with Margaret Glaspy). Critter seems to really like it, ha ha
DAM
Anybody know what song is at 14:45 ish?
"For Critter." You can find it here: chriseldridge.bandcamp.com/
Why didn't they play the Hendersons? ;-(
Anyone know what the tune is starting at ua-cam.com/video/3ximNaHx_Oc/v-deo.html ? Really cool!
Never mind, Old Grimes which they answered right after
what are the 4 chords that Julian plays to listen to overtones?
22:22
OH MY LORD IM BOUTTA BUSTTTTT
understandable
Stroke is the word.
Does anyone know what is the song on 35:18 ???
It's called "At the meeting house" and it's from their debut EP "Close to picture". You can download the EP for free here:

@@PI227 Thanks alot for the information, mate!
What's the song called at 1.00.00?
Gustav Alte pretty sure it's Whiskey Before Breakfast
I take that back, you hear Chris say it's Old Grimes
Im no pro but maybe you should turn their mics on?
goddamn. never seen a more in sync foot tapping or guitar playing, especially on red prairie dawn.
All that nice sound equipment. It should sound a lot better! I hear a lot of AC fan noise.
Zzzzzzz...
mic these guys with wireless lavs so we can hear everything they say when they are wandering
Einfach Gibson....
Chris's pick angle first excites string vibration then cancels part of it in one stfoke. And it makes unwanted noise. That right hand technique needs adjusting. Once mastered he would be a more dynamic player.
bluegrass police sighting
John Geddes Yeah, you should go teach the professional a lesson in “proper” right hand technique. You must be delusional, dude.
No. It's a nice percussive sound, not everything is about sustain and clean technique. He provided an interesting counterpoint to Julian's approach.
Anyone know of the video Chris is referring to around 1:07:45? I love Norman's guitars just wondering which specific one he's referring to.
Pretty sure it's this one: ua-cam.com/video/Ai6T6eO71hw/v-deo.html
