Bro there's only like 50,000,000,000 round rocks. It was obvious that slightly grey rock with the black speckles had it. Rigged as fuck. Hollywood bias.
I love that the piano scene included a pianist actually playing the actual song with fake feet prosthetics! I remember seeing that scene for the first time and being shocked that the right notes were being hit??
To me it actually always looked like CG because of the unnatural toe movements, but i never even considered that they used a practical thing. 😂😂 Like, it's insane how many practical effects they used anyway. What a great movie. 👌
This should literally be the blueprint for anyone working in the film industry! Glad they swept all the awards! Already tired of seeing directors abusing cast and crew on set, what an excellent job the Daniels have done to keep everyone on set happy and engaged!
yes everyone should watch their film editor talk about how they allowed them to work humane hours and spend time with their families. he also made it a point to say that this movie is proof you don't have to suffer in those aspects to make a good film
Look back at the history of the film Scrooged its very ironic. It being about an overbearing studio exec. The studio that funded its filming told the director "No you will all work on Christmas day" so the director fired everyone so they could have time off over Christmas the rehired them after. It was clear the studio execs didn't see the irony of their behaviour.
The Raccacoonie guy dying while Michelle gracefully spins like a Cirque De Soleil dancer above him is so bizarrely peak funny to me, and I can't put my finger on exactly why.
my favorite part about the whole raccacoonie bit, is that Randy Newman (who usually sings all the classic disney/pixar songs we know and love), actually sang the song that plays in that scene.
I'm glad they won everything. There's so much genuine GOODness on display all the way through this project that I have no problem with it being rewarded as thoroughly as possible
You can tell James was trying to hold that burp in HAHAHAHAHA it’s amazing that Michelle was able to stay in character for that long when Ke already gave in and you could hear Jamie’s voice cracking in the back too 😂😂😂
1:26 "Michelle, sing a song" is my favourite 5:55 is so funny with the way Michelle stays in-character (SOMEHOW) while everyone else is corpsing (and Jaimie-Lee Curtis keeps her line going, damn; Ke Huy Quan is so adorable here)
his shoulders shaking me is just. killing me. and i read in another comment that this was one of their first scenes filmed together, which makes this even funnier
I love the fact that, by watching this, you can tell those lovely displays of affection and bonding we saw between them during the Awards Season were absolutely real and legit.
How they made it through a single scene without cracking up 10.000 times, I do not know. This movie is brilliant from very character, to cast to staff to props to music and all the way to the bloopers!
The sweep of this film was so well deserved. And I genuinely think the Academy (who is comprised of their peers in all categories) might be tired of big budget/biopic films and all saw this low budget indie film as a reminder of their roots and why they got into this industry in the first place - because they're creatives and want to see more unique films like this take a risk with high profile actors signing on to bizarre scripts.
There's something heartwarming about the industry legends of this cast just clearly having a blast while filming this movie. That they still have this energy and love for the craft is wonderful to see.
That robo-racoon reminds me of the old times when films were made by real props and it looks soo hilarious on the head of that guy, better than any CGI would ever could.
If I remember correctly from an interview they did, the Daniels were fine with that scene being filmed in a less epic location but the location scout was like no, I wanna find a spot that this scene deserves. This film had so much love and care put into it 🥹
I watched these bloopers on theater. It was so fun the directors told us just wait them with seeing their lens flare for 10min (and came back within 15sec). The moment Waymond accidently call Evelyn as michelle is my favorite moment😉
I immediately start to cry everytime I see any scene of this movie, specially with the music, but this gave me so much life. I remember the first time I watched the movie thinking if Michelle was feeling bad with every ridiculous scene "I am this great actress with all this experience and I'm inserting hot dog fingers into another person's mouth" and in fact there is an interview where she mentions this but like making fun of that idea, but now seeing this all I see is that not only her but everyone else were having a blast doing this movie, especially knowing now that she was the one that suggested to do the rocks scene in silence, she was really connected to this story, what a professional. The Daniels always mentions how this movie was really a collaborative work, I'll always have this movie and this story in my heart.
Absolutely the best movie ever made. Wayman was so endearing. The daughter did a great job playing her two roles. And I love how so many characters seem like nobody but end up playing important roles throughout the movie. It’s just so dang good. Glad it got the credit it deserved.
I am so mad at myself for taking this long to go see this film. “The most awarded film ever made” deserved every single one of them. Truly the best multiverse story put to film. Plus points for actually having a moral to the film instead of just being action schlock.
fun fact: 5:55 this is actually the first scene they did together during the shooting before everything else. michelle prolly like (jokingly) what is this!? lol
I love how Michelle said jokingly at 6:22 that nobody is a serious actor here and yet it won 3 of the top acting awards in Oscar and got nominated in 4. The only reason why they did not win in all 4 is because 2 of them were nominated in the same category. 😅
Love this fun atmosphere for when they mess up; a nice change from the i-carly blooper clips I saw where instead of everyone laughing and having fun, all the actors just get super uncomfortable and scared.
It’s funny, I’ve seen so many interviews with Michelle Yeoh and I know damn well how funny she is. And everything about her still just makes it such a delightful surprise to see how funny she is in these bloopers.
I honestly don’t know how they finished this movie. I don’t know how they could get a clean shot of any scene, the material was so outrageous and hysterical.
It's so awesome that the movie involves so many practical effects and the editing is just use to enhance that and the story; They used editing to enhance the practical effects, rather than replace them, and that's part of what makes this movie so incredible. Unlike Marvel, the editing and any cgi enhances stuff that's already there, as opposed to basically using cgi for everything except the people
The fact that they had a fun time making this movie and filmed it for 38 days - that’s impressive
38 days was the time to film in the IRS building location, not the whole film. Still impressive, though

😂🤣😂🤣

Did the guy get a credit as the Casting Director for the rocks? He deserved it.
Bro there's only like 50,000,000,000 round rocks. It was obvious that slightly grey rock with the black speckles had it. Rigged as fuck. Hollywood bias.
"Nobody is a serious actor here!" the Oscar winning actor said to two other Oscar winning actors and a literal acting icon 😂
Plus one oscar nominated actor. Don't forget about Stephanie Hsu
James Hong burping and making Ke laugh derailed the whole take XD
0:40 I love how he continued to act seriously whilst Michelle is just there in the background pirouetting in the air 😂
Legends tell he wore the racacoonie puppet on his head even while cooking at home, during the filming of this movie
She looked so graceful.
Im not exactly sure he saw that she was still in the air lol!
There's a universe where this happens
that's just her doing Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
I love that the piano scene included a pianist actually playing the actual song with fake feet prosthetics! I remember seeing that scene for the first time and being shocked that the right notes were being hit??
haha u said penis
I always assumed an armless pianist was playing lol
To me it actually always looked like CG because of the unnatural toe movements, but i never even considered that they used a practical thing. 😂😂 Like, it's insane how many practical effects they used anyway. What a great movie. 👌
I'm surprised it was an actual foot pianist as well.

AGREED ❤!

😂😂😂😂
Care to Explain the reasoning behind that?.
@Robert J it's literally the most awarded in the film history. Search it up.
5:54 She deserved the Oscar just for keeping a straight face through all that madness unfolding around her.
It was so good how she reacted to absurd reality exactly like her character in the movie
This literally made my day Funniest shit ever 😂
The Raccacoonie guy dying while Michelle gracefully spins like a Cirque De Soleil dancer above him is so bizarrely peak funny to me, and I can't put my finger on exactly why.
She’s so elegant
"A funny situation is funny to me, I don't know why, it's a mistery"
The actor who plays the Raccacoonie guy is Harry Shum Jr. I thought it was awesome when he showed up in the film
Michelle remembering her professional ballet days.
my favorite part about the whole raccacoonie bit, is that Randy Newman (who usually sings all the classic disney/pixar songs we know and love), actually sang the song that plays in that scene.
They look like they had a blast making the movie. The love and energy translates to the film itself. Bravo to all!

In fact, in one of the scenes, Daniel Scheinert (I think) actually said: "Just do it like ______. We aren't making an Oscar film here.." 😂😂😂
1:33 love how even the cameraman is in on it
The bloopers are so much fun to watch. I wish there was more.

There's something heartwarming about the industry legends of this cast just clearly having a blast while filming this movie. That they still have this energy and love for the craft is wonderful to see.

I can't believe they were actually on a mountain in the desert for the rock scene and that wasn't a green screen. That's awesome. 😮😂
