I hate Hasbro QC issues a lot but one thing that aggravated me the most about this figure is its backpack not that it's big rather it's made out of clear plastic which will become weak if not break eventually.
I just got a Tracks from Entertainment Earth. Luckily it had all the wheels. Also had the problem of the panels sticking out in vehicle mode. I did get a Core class Optimus months ago that was missing a leg wheel - easily replaced by Amazon Had the issue with Hasbro running out of stock on a damaged item come up too. It was on the Walmart Netflix Optimus, which I was actually able to replace at Walmart. Hasbro’s items of equal value were the Kingdom Cliffjumper (which I already had) and the awful Studio Series 3-pack of Autobot female motorcycles (which arrived in a completely mangled box). As for Entertainment Earth, last October they were supposed to ship me a Star Wars Black Series Cad Bane but sent a Batman figure by mistake. So instead of an exchange they just refund the return and then reorder the figure. I have yet to receive the replacement Cad Bane.
Man, idk if I can justify the potential QC issues and that wonky transformation. I was thinking about getting him because I love his robot mode and my very first car was a Stingray, so the nostalgia was a big factor. But I think this convinced me to just save my money instead
When I was a kid I traded my Dinobot Slag for Tracks and my Mom made me walk back to my friends house and trade back. It was embarrassing as hell. I’m still waiting on my first Tracks… 😑😑😑
Sorry to hear about your figure, brother. Good old Hasbro quality. Their crappy QC struck my Kingdom Rhinox on his left leg. A pin was improperly driven into the brown transformation joint above the knee. So now I have a Rhinox that can only 3/4ths transform. GOOD JOB HASBRO!

I really want this guy, Tracks is probably my favorite Autobot, if not he's definitely at least in my top 5. I can never decide between him, Sunstreaker, Blaster, Jazz, and Sky Lynx. I can never really decide the order though

Besides Sideswipe, Tracks is my favorite Autobot sports car, and I’ve been eagerly awaiting this bot since it was announced for Kingdom. Now, I’m concerned that they’ll all have the sucky front panel issue in car mode. Hope your next one isn’t a dud.
Wow, sorry to hear about the quality issue. There were other red flags that got me with this particular figure after watching another review. Surprised to see the wheel was the issue with yours. The back section scares me. I love the character of tracks, I just couldn't with this one.
I had an Earthrise Wheeljack come with 2 left sides for the rear spoiler. They didn't fit together at all. I had to buy a second one, and it was corrrect, so the first one I just display in robot mode since the "offness" of the wings is less noticeable.
That's good of Ent. Earth sending you a replacement. Enjoy. Maybe the next one will stand better. It would be funny if you get a spare tire on the next one! I cancelled my order from Hasbro Pulse. After seeing a couple of reviews showing the same weak knee syndrome, I prefer not to give my money to poor quality.
Honestly kinda surprised you gone this far with good figures. I returned exchanged about 1 in 6 for the potp line and I bought them all pretty much. Wundcharger no rear wheels. Grimlock the hips broke because it is painted inside. Rodimus prime missing a heel. Cutthroat was tore up something bad scratches and a peg was melted down. I just noticed me octane op is missing 2 wheels. Overbite right arm pops off not at the ball joint the entire arm. I am scared to touch er ratchet prowl Ironhide because of the broken parts I see posted. So ya the qc is really bad and prices are going up, hasbro dose not give a shit also any replacment is some shelf warming figure I would not go that route at all.
Haven't even watched the rest... from the title I imagine he has some problems.... but that Tracks impersonation killed me! He was always one of my favorites too. "Keep San Fransisco clean. Leave!". P.S. Yeah... all that clear plastic worries me. Honestly If I transform him it will only be one time and then I will transform him back to robot mode and he can just hang out on a shelf.
Tracks has always been one of my favorites. He is a cross been Thurston Howell lll, and a head cold. My mom made me let my cousin see my Tracks figure. Within one minute, he broke the passenger door off! I knew he would destroy. 36 years later, I’m still mad about that day. 😡😢 Good luck finding a replacement Tracks.
qc issues aside the translucent back back is somthing that will be a part of the mold from what I have seen with Road Rage. Hope the loose bits are fixed in Road Rage and any other uses of the mold. I hope they make a Generation Selects Loudpedal with this mold so I can pair him up with my copy of Exhaust.

At every QC issue i wish Mattel would buy the Transformers from Hasbro. The Jurassic toyline is much better now and i really would like to see what could Mattel do with the Transformers.

The qc on this particular figure seems to be rock bottom. Yours is the fourth one i've heard about having various qc issues, in the short time it's been available.
It's not just your figure, it's the same issue with mine when it comes to transforming. This figure should had been redesigned, at least in the feet and leg area. Though I am thankful it came with all four wheels.

I just picked mine up today from Best Buy. Fortunately I did not have the same issues you did, except for those front panels not wanting to stay tabbed-in.
Regarding the front panels in vehicle mode, mine has the same issue, but only on one side. The other side I can usually get to stick in with a bit of effort. I find if you pull it forward or push it back while pushing it into the tab that can sometimes help to get it locked in properly.
I totally agree about the legs. The only leg transformation that's worse is Rhinox. It's a shame because Tracks is a neat little bot. Just a pain in the ass to do the legs. Every time.
Man, that's unfortunate about the wheel. But I am not surprised with Hasbro QC, because I hear about it a lot. I am probably one of the lucky ones that have yet to encounter mishaps in any of my figures.

I was like "What the hell , did the wheel fall off during transformation "? 😳 I then went back and watched your video over and they didn't even include the damn wheel in the package ? Dude I would have been so pissed!! Rediculous....stop making crap over seas Hasbro! So many QC issues with these figures.
I had that happen with my Punch/Counterpunch figure. I didn't notice it right away either which really sucked when I finally did actually remove him from the package and go to display him. I don't do vehicle mode so it's not a major deal display wise but is still kind of a bummer. =/
Ah yes i remember when i first got him 2 days ago i almost broke the top car part of the transformation trying to force it in the place wheres its suppose to attach on the legs

I found this guy on clearance at my local Target. I was super excited but I couldn't get those loose leg flaps to stay in robot mode either. I returned it because it just wasn't any fun despite being one of my favorite characters. 😕

Tracks was my favorite autobot my scorpinock the headmaster came missing an arm was pissed about that aswell ill never use it in headmaster mode. Man this tracks looks to have alot of issues thou such a shame
In my opinion, I think you were unlucky with that Tracks figure and you have every right to claim a new figure in excellent condition. More than a week ago I saw the revision of that same figure to an English boy who calls himself Prime vs Prime, and I assure you he had no problem, neither with defects nor with the transformation, not even with the serial number in the figure . That one was spotless. Thank you Patriot Prime for his sympathy and patience, despite these unexpected problems. Thank you!

Well that missing wheel is more the factory fault than Hasbro because Hasbro probably doesn't have someone from their company to look at the toys that are shipped even if they do they are going to qc figures like your tracks personally I think Hasbro just need to find another better company to make their toys
There is something you can do to fix this problem. There is video here on UA-cam that shows Kingdom tracks fix.. There is something going on under the hood that requires some minimal shaving.
Oh, this particular QC issue hits me too. Makes me want to ask this question now. I bought a Nemesis Prime (Spoiler pack) and guess what? The trailer is missing a wheel! Now, should I contact Hasbro and maybe get a replacement wheel? I mean it's Optimus Prime trailer. I just took a wheel off that and it's complete, but now Optimus's trailer is missing a wheel.
Just picked this guy up yesterday, honestly I think he kinda sucks, the Firebird alt. mode is pretty sweet and his head sculpt is awesome. He's a pain in the ass to transform so I had to come to you for help....lol. thanks for helping me figure him out

He’s 84.99 plus the shipping, he’s still available for preorder if you choose to go that route though me may not come out till September. BUT that was the same about Galvatron and he came out early. You don’t get charged for preorder until they ship him. I think everyone else has sold out unless you’re lucky to find him at your local retailers. Good luck man.

Sorry you got a bad one, but just remember - he was assembled in a foreign country by an overworked underpaid factory worker. I would be a little more upset that Hasbro can't replace him (or the part) than the assembly. At least Entertainment Earth has your back.

I saw a video that fixed the loose front fenders. It appears that the pins holding them onto the figure aren’t pushed in enough.

Same happened to me and my blackarachnia. She was missing her right knee!

In my opinion, I think you were unlucky with that Tracks figure and you have every right to claim a new figure in excellent condition. More than a week ago I saw the revision of that same figure to an English boy who calls himself Prime vs Prime, and I assure you he had no problem, neither with defects nor with the transformation, not even with the serial number in the figure . That one was spotless. Thank you Patriot Prime for his sympathy and patience, despite these unexpected problems. Thank you!

Well that missing wheel is more the factory fault than Hasbro because Hasbro probably doesn't have someone from their company to look at the toys that are shipped even if they do they are going to qc figures like your tracks personally I think Hasbro just need to find another better company to make their toys

There is something you can do to fix this problem. There is video here on UA-cam that shows Kingdom tracks fix.. There is something going on under the hood that requires some minimal shaving.
Oh, this particular QC issue hits me too. Makes me want to ask this question now. I bought a Nemesis Prime (Spoiler pack) and guess what? The trailer is missing a wheel! Now, should I contact Hasbro and maybe get a replacement wheel? I mean it's Optimus Prime trailer. I just took a wheel off that and it's complete, but now Optimus's trailer is missing a wheel.
My "Dead" Prime was missing the trailer supports, fortunately he was an easy exchange with Amazon.

Just picked this guy up yesterday, honestly I think he kinda sucks, the Firebird alt. mode is pretty sweet and his head sculpt is awesome. He's a pain in the ass to transform so I had to come to you for help....lol. thanks for helping me figure him out

He’s 84.99 plus the shipping, he’s still available for preorder if you choose to go that route though me may not come out till September. BUT that was the same about Galvatron and he came out early. You don’t get charged for preorder until they ship him. I think everyone else has sold out unless you’re lucky to find him at your local retailers. Good luck man.
