All I can say is this is one of THE BEST Dairenoh/Thunder Megazord pieces ever next to the Legacy Thunder Megazord. Hopefully when they get to the SOC, Bandai took what they learnt from this and make it better like an ab crunch for Ryuseioh 'cause I feel you can do a lot of things with Red Dragon's tummy. Tho for his claws, I reckon they should take a look at Dyna Soldier from Dynazenon since they both have the same fingers that can be used for Red Dragon's too.
If they wanted to make an SMP Alternative Destiny, I think the Metal Power toy looks to be a pretty good design if they ever go for that in the future.

I loved and hated the Legacy version. I loved it because it was the Dairanger mechs with painted details, but that thing was such a wobbly piece of garbage. There was no stability to it at all with pieces falling off all of the time.
I love the articulation and overall look of these SMPs, but I have yet to combine them for the reasons I mentioned in the comments, but I can't imagine the SOC being able to pull off what the SMP can do due to its size. Hell, they couldn't even make Daizyujin and Dragon Caesar all that posseable and both of those also suffered from stability problems when combined.
Best megazord of all time!

I can't get mine to combine into Dairen-Oh. No, not because I don't know how to do it, but because every time I try to put Ryuseioh 's legs into the Kirin and Pegasus, the stickers start to scratch and tear. I've sprayed them like 3 times over with my Tamiya clear seal and it seems to do nothing to protect them.

Makes sense for you, but not the toy. Like what was the point of doing stickers if they tear from combining him? Did they really overlook this issue? They should have just painted the legs.
They already wrote in the manual, that the sticker might tear. So they didn't have any solution with this 😂

Did they? The manual is all in Japanese, so I did not know this. That's pretty dumb though. "Here, we gave you a sticker for the legs, but don't use it."
I know why they didn't paint it, but when your design has a huge flaw like that, they should have. At the very least, they could have provided a second sticker sheet.

I don't get why they still feel the need to include stickers on these kits. Is it part of the challenge? Or is it due to budgetary and technological limitations? I find applying them a very nerve-racking experience myself. It's difficult enough to assemble the parts in just the right way.
Off course to lowering budget
All minipla/SMP is hard to assemble because they made from hard plastic abs material not like a gunpla
Back in the 80's the first Gundam model kits required glue, something they have since phased out. Is it possibe they could find away to phase out stickers as well? If so would 3D printing be a good method?

@@RangerToysStudio I've heard of others protecting the sticker by using a clear UV resin but I'm not sure i want to go down that road. Specifically because i already damaged one of the stickers by combining it just ONCE. 😩
All protecting trick is useless IMO, because the leg clip is too tight. The only way is sanding the clip or cut it. I have plan to modify that but will wait for wontiger arrive.
