Thanks for this! Love the fact that you're saying to mix it up. If you get too predictable, your opponent comes up with an answer to your riddle. I think the head slip in Muay Thai / Kick boxing gets such a bad rep because of this so called knee up the middle. Likewise about slipping too deep into a roundhouse being an issue. But if you do, as you're saying, mixing up the defence techniques, it makes it a lot harder for said opponent to time your head slip with a knee or round house
