very good advice. I see players just at level 4 going to the big lakes trying to catch a big fish on small set up and then asking everyone else why their lines break. I personally have started out and done every mission, mastering, collecting and still working on a few challenges. I saved my monster fish until I was level 50. Was more fun and less stressful catching the fish. I also fish at every lake when trying to up my XP. Looking forward to Blue Crab Island. I have also only bought 3 DLC's, Bottom , Feeder and Carp setup. Wasn't sure how to set them up, they were not costly, so i bought them. I do have Premium for a year since i fish so much. I do love this game since the weather doesn't always give the chance to go fish at the lakes near by.
I really hate that we can't get the monster lures back once the monster has been caught. I lost the spoon from the monster on Rocky Lake and that thing slayed catching trout.
Your video is helpful, can you help me, I'm currently at level 32 stuck at Michigan with only $177 my license expired so I can't afford another one to fish, what can I do to build money back up, should I leave to Lonestar a free Lake to build my money back up, I really don't want to leave Michigan I was farming Pike until I spent too much money
I'm on xbox , and noticed your on Playstation.. so will probably be the same somewhat.. how do you empty the backpack back into home storage without deleting the item on a console version?
#3 is nice concept and all but... As an amateur you don't know how to play, you don't have gear and can't afford it, and if you were to do 1 or 2 amateur comps then you would level up too high for all the amateur comps. I couldn't even figure out how to cast further than 2 feet (Click Right Stick) for over a day of playing Haha. Game needs better instructions!!
@@SoopaDaveGaming data for this game isn't saved on your playstation it's saved in an online server deleting the save data only resets your settings back to default. I've had to factory reset my playstation once before and when I redownloaded this game and loaded it up I still had all my progress.

I've been playing extremely slowly as I haven't left the free lake yet at lvl 19 (almost 20) making $4000+ a day with my current setup.
Yeah you make more there when you level up like you are. In the video I use what gear is available to a person at lake level. Nice job!

Nice video Dave! I would also try to do all the events, like Halloween, 4th of July, etc,etc. They help out loads for lower levels.

Sounds like you need to to go back to lonestar but atleast you know what to do this time.

It shouldnt delete unless you have you home storage full.

Yeah when I did mine I kept my progress, think you have to delete saved game data to reset
