Nisarga Shetty No SM basically indirectly confirmed it. A few days ago it was revealed Lami and Koeun’s names were removed off of the SM Rookie’s rosters, meaning they left the label. Additionally, fans found former sm rookie Herin following a new insta account, and it turned out to be Lami (Sungkyung). Her username is @bible_030303 so you can check it out (but Herin unfollowed her after it blew up lol) After all, they’re just trainees so I don’t expect SM to make some official announcement like how they do for their artists. It’s really unfortunate, considering how much time and effort they spent under the label for it to go to waste. However I don’t think it was an easy decision for them to make so hopefully they’ll do well.

Some are questioning the aespa lineup. 1) Ningning voice is the most outstanding than the other 5 smrookies 2) Winter vocal and technique is above the other 5 smrookies 3) Giselle is the best rapper than the smrookies (english speaker is a bonus, so she became the english speaker) 4) Karina not only serving visual and dancing but also her powerful vocal Also lami is my fav visual but seeing her grow up, her face changed a lot (still beautiful but no longer as how she used to (eg: picture in the video), thus Lami often posted photo of her covering her face. She also used filters in her ig live saying she doesn’t feel confident in her face). I think Karina and Winter did surpass her current visual. Anyways goodluck to all these former rookies. I have been supporting them for many years. All the best.

Smh this comment assumes the girls did not debut because aespa members are more talented/ deserving. I think most of these girls left before they decided aespa lineup and the reason they did not debut is not because of their talents and potential but because sm kept delaying it. i think the reason why they all left the company is that SM changed the concept. Actually before even revealing Ningning in Aespa,I knew she was going to debut,she had the hardest parts and did all the adlips so i was so sure that she’s SMe favorite vocalist 🤍
Not really, before Ningning join SM, they have Herin. She's a really good vocalist even at her age. Everyone thought she's gonna stay be the main vocalist.

Some are questioning the aespa lineup.
1) Ningning voice is the most outstanding than the other 5 smrookies
2) Winter vocal and technique is above the other 5 smrookies
3) Giselle is the best rapper than the smrookies (english speaker is a bonus, so she became the english speaker)
4) Karina not only serving visual and dancing but also her powerful vocal
Also lami is my fav visual but seeing her grow up, her face changed a lot (still beautiful but no longer as how she used to (eg: picture in the video), thus Lami often posted photo of her covering her face. She also used filters in her ig live saying she doesn’t feel confident in her face). I think Karina and Winter did surpass her current visual.
Anyways goodluck to all these former rookies. I have been supporting them for many years. All the best.

Smh this comment assumes the girls did not debut because aespa members are more talented/ deserving. I think most of these girls left before they decided aespa lineup and the reason they did not debut is not because of their talents and potential but because sm kept delaying it. Once announced smrookies you're supposed to be sure to debut because why would the company promote you to public? For fun? SM plans kept changing and they kinda got tired of waiting.. These girls and aespa members are all wonderful and no need to relate their reason of debuting/not debuting to each other.
You seem kinda biased in your comment... This video and many other videos of smrookies girls performing are 2++ years old and I'm sure they've improved so much more all these years but we just didn't get to witness their improvements bc SM barely released new content about them.

i think the reason why they all left the company is that SM changed the concept. The first concept was pure with powerful choreography as SNSD’ a first years & Koeun, Lami, Hina were perfect for this concept. But now if you see Aespa’s teaser photos u can see that concept is mysterious, more adult & chic(?). And this concept doesn't suit them so they changed the line-up? Just think for yourself, they were already popular & had their own fan base. We are all waited them. I don't think they did it for no good reason. Of course, it’s so sad because we all waited our Ko-leader and center- maknae Lami, dance machine Hina, visual Yiyang, our happy virus Herin with cute dimples. But let’s support Aespa!~ I think they deserve it & hope all good wishes for our SR15G, SR16G🤍🤧

everytime sm announce a new gg and now that they already confirmed the members, i still kept on thinking that koeun, hina, herin, lami, jungyeon, yiyang and ningning were the ones that's gonna debut. although i am very happy much happy the a new smgg will debut, i can't help but to have a bitter feeling that only ningning was left. i have been watching and rooting for them especially for koeun because i wanna see more of her leadership. still, best of luck, aespa! i will just think that ningning holds the dreams of her friends who couldn't make it to the stage. in that way, i can feel or ease the bitterness that constantly crept in my heart
