Oh wow … now I understand why Hozen is the worldclass luthier that he is - his father like Bill, the father of world class photographer Russel Wong - inspired him and was his runway to greatness.

I just found your company. I love your philosophy. I will be buying one of your guitars soon. Being in Hawaii I won't be able to try one first. But- the two things that sold me- you learned voicing from Somogyi...and youre the only Somogyi apprentice that's not trying to sell his guitars for 20k plus. Great guitars should be accessible. You're awesome!

I love you, Ho Zen! I just ordered my first Maestro, a traditional series OO MH. My friend, Jonathan Koh told me about you. I had to buy one as fast as possible, because I had never heard a sound like I heard from this guitar.
I found one in the matte finish, which is really what I wanted! I was saving up for a Santa Cruz, but I think your guitars are just as special. I can't wait until it arrives, because I am going to demo it on my channel!🐰❤️🎸🎶🤝✌️

Btw, have you seen what Ben Wilborn has been doing with his offset sound hole and radial bracing? Looks pretty interesting. But he likes to make his tops as thin as possible. That's not the sound I'm after. Since you're into trying different things, you may wanna check it out.

Ben do really cool stuff but it's not our cup of tea either. Hozen is trained by Somogyi so his style and his design are heavily influenced by his teacher.
