Congrats on the 20k lads! East India Dock looked widely impressive and you could see them behind being pushed along and falling away 1 by 1 until he was clear and then extended all the way to the line. He was 6/1 before the off and was still some 4/1 after the race and with 365 25% boost making 5/1! Had a Mullins of Hendo nag done the same they'd be near evens. My first Ante Post bet of the season.
So few trainers at the meeting bar the two minor races. Good trainers like Gibney and others not bothering. Ireland smaller trainers are being slowly pushed out
Pinkerton in handicap on sunday and sortudo in bumper still keep the faith with him after getting chinned on line at xmas.looking forward to seeing affordale fury back but hes a huge price in the irish gold cup
Nice show. Pray for Brighter Days to run in the mares. She is different league to anything else in the race (allowing for Lossiemouth not running) and needs another year before winning the Champion Hurdle in 2026.
An interesting horse at the DRF is I Am Maximus where Mullins runs a handful of top horses in the Irish Gold Cup. Willie rates him very highly & last year was talking about him as a possible Cheltenham Gold Cup horse, tho' he's not entered at Cheltenham this year.. He will handle bad ground and with signs that Galopin des Champ may be past his best, there is the possibility that Maximus will outstay all of the younger pretenders. You would need to put his last bad run aside, but the 33/1 on offer is maybe worth an EW punt.
However, the weather forecast for Leopardstown is dry on Thursday & Friday: it will be good jumping ground come Saturday, so no excuses for any poor performances
I can't believe you guys never mentioned IROKO run! I jumped on it after he went past the post 25/1 for the grand national believe me he will go off favourite you've been told
@Martin.Lewis.Racing.Channel do you read the form he was a staying on second in a 3 mile 1 furlong grade 1 in aintree & any 1 who knows the time of day the way he ran at Cheltenham was a horse looking after his handicap mark!! & By the way if you know what you're on about you would know he's been backed off the boards for the national & he's only 14/1
Holding said re: East India Dock that his time figures are better than the Triumph winners over the last decade, and at this stage the only one in his ballpark is Our Conor. That, plus the course form, make him my favourite for the Triumph.
Lads, did ye question the Potters Charm entry before the race and have the same discussion or is this all after thoughts? And for the record I agree with what your saying overrunning a horse and butchering the chance at the festival (which they have done) but it annoys me when no content creators question it before time and just say "ah he'll be odds on and should win handily" and then do a complete U-turn after the fact.
What do you boys think of Hyland for the Ultima? 16s seems a fair price. Loves Cheltenham and has some good form. One last thing. I think Ballyburn needs the further trip, and we will see him back to his best. Great video as always

I took a chance ante post on Final Demand at 40/1 for bith the turners and albert. So Iam happy- But I tink The New Lion will buck th challow trend and win the turners -with the yellow clay the big danger.
There's a guy on UA-cam.....Smokin cheltenham. Steve is his name and he's the best assessor of a horse that I've come across in a long time. He's the one racehorse fan who's not sponsored and is top value.
Diva Luna was disappointing but can not be that poor and the winner no superstar, DL has to have another chance. Agree totally with Josh, Sean Bowen reminds me so much of AP as well. Love this show, HONEST opinion and not scared to criticise which is refreshing.
Not convinced by Ballyburn after losing to Sir Gino who seems to be the next coming 😂. Must not think he is then if that’s the case. Cant even remember how far clear they were of the rest of the field and Ballyburn only jumped the last poorly. As for Marine Nationale, give up Andrew 😂. Finished behind GW and had a prep run LTO.
Hi guys, good stuff, but I beg you - PLEASE when you discuss horses in races as at @ 30 min: give the NAME of the horse, not just 'He's a worthy favourite' or whatever. And give the TIME of the race he's in - not just it's name! I make a sheet with the times of the races, then pencil in my fancies while watching shows like yours, to mull over later. But can't do that in absence of the above info. Surely I'm not alone in this? I love jumps racing, but can't hold all the extra info in my head like you chaps do. Thanks, lads.

Don't agree with your assessment of Constitution Hill. Go back to him in his prime at Kempton when he slaughtered the field you see the real horse. I'm only seeing the horse performing at a lower level in two runs this season. He's still the hurdler to beat but he doesn't impress me as being the same animal he once was.

Great show as always lads , don't think mighty potter would have won at Cheltenham anyway if I'm honest I think you'll see him exposed going forward but still a nice horse just a tad over rated
While I understand the point on Potters Charm but he had no chance if he raced him or not clearly, are you not just going to Cheltenham with the hope he’s something if you don’t go for this race, this horse is not going to be good enough to win at the festival whether he takes this race or not, you just know now as opposed to having the allure of a top class horse.

About sandor clegane.. He's never gonna win a stayers hurdle Never gonna come close to winning a stayers hurdle But I'll be there with my 4 place ew bet like buddy one... Why on earth are you advising people on horse racing betting when you are openly admitting to throwing away money via the win part of your ew bet. If you know for a fact he won't win a stayers hurdle or even come close In your mind, why would you back each way? Which consists of a win bet and a place bet? When you can simply just back the place? Shows how little you know. When I see these so called experts saying a horse can't win but he's a good ew bet it always makes me laugh. So it's good to waste half your stake when you could put the full stake on place only. Ffs give me a break. Clueless
