  • This is the stretching that Master Ko, Tai Jeong teaches us at the folk high school Bosei. With patience this will not only be healthy for your body, it will greatly improve your flexibillity and may also count as a meditative routine! Body, Mind, Spirit? - Check!
    감사합니다
Ps. I will gladly try to explain where the exercises are supposed to stretch, just ask, with time in the video for the exercise :)
Pps. Looking for a great Folk High School: www.bosei.dk - it has several different martial arts. health and fitness, japanese, korean and a bunch of other really interesting subjects! :)

Excellent stretching routine, that covers absolutely every movement I have been practicing as a student at my Taekwondo school. Thank you Master Ko, Tai Jeong.

To Daniel Sads : I confirm what JCKHDK has said. Stretching will work on you, as long as you practice it every day, even if it's only for 15 minutes. After more than 25 years practicing soccer, I was more than stiff, to say the least. I have seen improvements after one month, which is really short, after all. Just take a moment every day, be constant, and you'll be surprised to see how easy it is to improve your flexibility.

Nice, I'm following this so I'm not too stiff when I'm able to practice Taekwondo again (I'm recovering from knee surgery)

Of course there are individual differences, but if you do this stretch, like for 14 days on a daily basis, make it last app. 45 minutes - then you should notice improvement. If you have played a lot of soccer or the like in your youth, most likely you will have a harder time. I think some kinds of yoga is also good for stretching, so you might want to check that out, depending on what your goal with stretching is. Join Taekwondo, and they should have basic stretching :)
