They sold millions of albums
En los 90´s estábamos deprimidos, estábamos muertos por dentro, vacíos pero ese vacío era la musa de nuestra música y poesías, no queríamos salir de esto...
My dad and his best friend went to Joliet High School with the drummer Jimmy Chamberlin in the 70's. They used to smoke weed together behind the bleachers before classes. I never got to see or meet the man, but every time I watch this MV I always think about that.
When i was a teenager this was like the coolest thing id ever seen/heard. The 90s rocked
billy corgan-smashing pumpkins
homer simpson-smiling politely
If its brown drink it down
If its black send it back
I wasn’t a weirdo, I was in the audio visual club
@@langdonalger9219 Really? Me too! But I got kicked out for my views on Vietnam...also I was stealing projectors.
Hey look there's that cannon ball guy
He's pretty cool 😂
Let all go get a fur coat!
So many memories ...and as an extreme metal head; the riffs in this song are pure evil bliss.
My brain has never left 90's dimension, every time I hear timeless classics from the 90's I am transported back in time/home. 💞👌😊👍
I never left, I think about 10% of these views are mine😵
The 90's "melancholy", self inflicted despair and misery in a nutshell.
A lot of people have good reasons to be unhappy
@@smudge7057 "have"...still from the 90's?
@@Dios67soon a lot more people..
@@simplestickman5513 There's good reason to this year.
Self inflicted? I guess everything for you is just fucking perfect
Wtf where’s this been!!!???
Villains of Circumstance Vimeo and other platforms for several years
Bullet SO my apologies I just never really went out of my way to find it. I thought I would’ve found a copied version on here.
Villains of Circumstance It's ok, I noticed years ago when I looked for guitar covers and saw a link to this alt video of zero
I had to visit Dailymotion to watch it, for years.
I always thought it was out of respect for the Melvoin family since Johnathon (the pianist in the solo) died
The most metal alternative song ever.
It’s crazy SP doesn’t have 1m followers. SP are the best. Also this song can’t end without me hearing “Here Is No Why”
My reflection dirty mirror
There's no connection to myself
I'm your lover I'm your zero
I'm the face in your dreams of glass
So save your prayers
For when you're really gonna need 'em
Throw out your cares and fly
Want to go for a ride?
She's the one for me
She's all I really need, oh yeah
She's the one for me
Emptiness is loneliness and loneliness is cleanliness
And cleanliness is godliness, and God is empty just like me
Intoxicated with the madness, I'm in love with my sadness
Bullshit fakers, enchanted kingdoms
The fashion victims chew their charcoal teeth
I never let on, that I was on a sinking ship
I never let on that I was down
You blame yourself, for what you can't ignore
You blame yourself for wanting more

unquestionably the best rock band of the 90s
1:34 I like the part when it shows james❤️❤️❤️every time I watch the music video
That crazy keyboard solo sounds like a guitar, amazing production
"Homer Simpson, smiling politely"
Yo i love this forever
One of the best Simpson’s quotes in my opinion 😂
Under rated comment. Needs more love!!!
Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins 🤝
Homero Simpson de los "Simpsonitos"
EMPTINESS IS LONELINESS
AND LONELINESS IS CLEANLINESS
AND CLEANLINESS IS GODLINESS
and God is empty, just like ME
Man I love that bit so much.
NeverSaySandwich1 ~ Rewind Over and Over 🤘
My favorite lyric of that song and quite possibly most songs out
That part gets me so pumped and the way the guitar just rips back in
Fuck yeah man
The man isn't made as the image of god, god is made as the image of the man. And this one is empty.
I saw these live on their first UK gig since reforming (not all members I think), having not known much about them I left my friends and went along to the main stage. This song almost blew my head off, still the best live performance I've seen.
Hardest Smashing Pumpkins tune. Right on, Awesome
Smashing pumpkins greatest band ever
Hands down my favorite Smashing Pumpkins track. I don't even have to think about it. This is just "the one"
Nah it’s the zero
I get, but 1979, and Tonight Tonight, always get suck in my head, though this riff does as well.
@@BKINDY I see what you did there. My bad for the late reply lmao
By far the greatest song of all time by Smashing. Not even close. Beautifully put together, although most of the people in the video are completely strung out, especially the pianist.
We envy you Homer. All we have is our music, our legions of fans, our millions of dollars, and our youth.................Woo Hoo!
seriously one of the most unique guitar riffs I've ever heard. Before I learned this song on guitar I always thought the sliding palm muting part was just some type of synth. Amazing.
They are a great band and the voice is magical, their unique sound is the best, I've been following them for a long time and they never cease to amaze me.
You ever seen them live? I got to see them live for the first time a week ago and their uniqueness is multiplied by a thousand live. Great band live, even better than studio.

Happy to see Zero on UA-cam, finally. Awesome song and video.
I was empty and lonely, like God, until this was uploaded to UA-cam. Now feeling just pure cleanliness!!
So glad Spotify recommended me this and had me add this to my rock playlist
Saw them on the Infinite Sadness tour in Cleveland in the 90's and they opened with this song. WIll never forget it.
What amazing memories they must be.
This song is epic! Especially love James Iha's frantic and chaotic guitar solo. Brings the intensity to another level.
Rip Jonathan Melvoin ❤
is that him on the keys in the video...?
