It satisfies my soul when Caitlin takes time to sign autographs for the young girls and boys mainly in the 10-12 age group. I smile when I see some young girls actually start crying from joy after getting an autograph from Caitlin. It must get tiring at times for her although I dont think she ever tires of signing for the younger crowd,, for the older crowd not so much.

Ma'am, you just made a 56 yr old man tear up hearing your reasons to be thankful for Caitlin Clark. I'm thankful to her parents for raising an incredible daughter, sports aside. Her bros for not taking it easy on her and their unquestionable support. I'm also thankful to Little Miss From the Logo for the awakening of watching The W. So many talented women, too many to name. AR, I'm thankful for you as well! You're the first person I look for in my notifications when I get home from work. You are exactly what the sign on the wall behind you says. HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and everyone!

I agree with everything you said. The WNBA has dropped the ball, too many times, they should all be fired, they don't deserve Caitlin Clark, they can't even spell her name correctly, that more than once, getting her stats wrong more than once, putting her down everytime she broke a record, this young lady is a class act, taking the high road, where I would have told them in front of the world where they could stick the WNBA.

I’m Thankful that there are still athletes out there that are not only generational players but exceptional humans. Our world is in a negative spiral but Caitlin Clark is making a difference toward bring us back to positivity. No matter how badly CC was treated on the court, she let her skills in basketball do the talking. Off the court, Caitlin supports women’s sports, charities and trying to help people especially children to follow their dreams. The WNBA is changing, and there are many new players coming in the draft that will help support for a better professional WNBA. I think we as fans need to be more positive and kind to one another. We all have opinions but in the end it’s about how much you can give back to the things you love. 🌺🩷

This is so true. Great commentary.
Adrienne, I’d like to add one more thing that the WNBA should be thankful for. This is something that, given whom they’ve shown themselves to be, would be much more difficult for the league to stomach and/or be thankful for, but I submit it nonetheless.
The WNBA should be thankful to Caitlin Clark for exposing their flaws. In order for an entity to change and grow, one needs to know their weaknesses. CC did not consciously attempt to expose the undesirable traits within the league, but she has done it anyway, and this gives the league a chance to correct them.

Well done, Adrienne you said that so well redeeming the reputation of CaitlinClark and adding a little bit lustre to the ungrateful WNBA people who need a real wakeup call to realise the exponential benefit that this young woman has brought to basketball and will continue to do. Caitlin had maturity, poise, and intelligence to know how to play this game to her benefit and well being as well as lifting those around her.

I’m Australian I have never watched NBA basketball let alone the WMBA but after seeing CC I have started watching the WMBA and enjoying it
CC is my reason for watching but I’m starting to appreciate all of the talented women in the league, but being from out side looking in you can see the racist aspects of some of the woman in the game
WMBA should be ashamed of themselves for the way they treat there super star of the game and should be embarrassed to not be able to make a profit from such a great game

I'm 45 female and just started watching the WNBA this past season( 2023-2024) because of Caitlin Clark and I also watch South Carolina Gamecocks play Iowa Hawkeyes play in the 2024 National title game and both were amazing. I was 16 when the WNBA debut in1996 but I am also a long time NBA fan too and when the WNBA started so did the Toronto Raptors in 1995 so my attention was on the NBA,. But now I have included the WNBA now because of Caitlin Clark and I am hoping the Fever win a championship. I am trying to support the WNBA because they need the support the most from women.

Caitlin Clark will be the Face Of Sports according to Money Mike's Syndicated Podcast. He believes Nike is preparing right now to make this a reality. I find this plausible, because of her appearances in golf tourneys, race car promotions, she's at NFL games w/ties to travis kelsey, NBA courting her to play in the 3pt contest, and acquisition of a soccer team. It all makes sense.

    • @JE-IC
      @JE-IC 4 дні тому +4

I saw Money Mike's podcast on this too. I found his analysis very interesting. I guess we'll see how closely his analysis hit the mark.
A tennis pro, Caroline Dolehide, said in an interview that she'd love to team up with Caitlin in a doubles match. I have no idea whether Caitlin knows enough about tennis to give this any consideration, but it shows how athletes in other sports would love her to shine her light on their sport.

Thank you so much for your "6 reasons" it so right on the mark! I always look forward to seeing you in my notifications each day. I'm a believer and your show always has wisdom from that perspective. I wanted you to know that CC Is the reason I started watching the WNBA. The first time I saw Caitlin was on the sports segment of my local news broadcast. It was about the college play offs and a clip of Iowa was on and it showed Caitlin hitting one of her almost half court shots and I was blown away! They implied it was pretty much common place for her. I said to myself wow I got to follow her! So when the WNBA season started I figured out what team she was on and started following her and checked out the stats of others in the league. Then the behavior of the other women toward her and almost quit watching. Then after a few more of her games I decided not to. Anyway, long story shorter I'm hooked on her. She is unbelievable. Her accomplishments are incredible. Golf, now Soccer, her kindness, especially to the little ones just blows me away. I pray for her every day that god would bless her and watch over and protect her. Any may God richly bless you 😊

I already commented, however, I would like to add another reason the W should be thankful for our girl CC. W, be thankful you have one of the most bullied, nay, assaulted, insulted, hated on players in any sport I've ever seen. That is also the most tongue biting, forgiving, grace having, stand-up athlete/person/friend/teammate/humanitarian I've seen in, maybe my life. W, be thankful Caitlin Clark is letting you, be part of her life!

One thing you missed that is huge is Catlin’s biggest fan group is young girls. She still refers to herself as a girl and many times acts young, so young girls really relate. She will foster a generation of female athletes and sports fans. Look how many children showed up at The Annika! Golf has always struggled to get kids involved since they need parents to play and pay. She brought more children to the course than show up for The Masters! The WNBA should be using her to pull in kids who have to bring parents with them.

I no longer am baited into wasting time and energy clicking on the UA-cam videos with sensational titles that come up daily. If I happen to notice a shocking or in some way a sensational title, I do not click on the video or channel, at least not before I go to Adrienne's video library to see if she addressed the topic. I know that if there is any merit to a topic then it will be addressed at some point by Adrienne--and her way of covering a subject is well worth the wait.

If only CC wasn't on the wrong team (she was drafted Geno) and was and built for this league, was strong enough to handle the physicality and quick enough to escape the physicality. If only there weren't actual betting odds that she would finish third or fourth for MVP of the WNBA and hadn’t ACTUALLY finished 4th in the final voting. If only her fans weren't so disrespectful and so unknowledgeable and so stupid that it gave women’s basketball a bad name. If only the kid (a baby goat) wasn't set up for failure right from the beginning .... If only some people knew when to stop talking....

From the players to the coaches to the managers to the refs… one year is all they have to change the cheesy petty cheating culture to one of good sportsmanship . If it’s as awful as last year… fans will walk out forever. They don’t want to watch CC get hurt. They don’t want the eye poke videos. Gosh the cattiness is off the charts. Have you seen the girls and young women in Africa (I can't recall the country) who are being tended to as war victims - i dont think i have to describe what is done to girls when they are surrounded by war. They show them in a room where there is a tv. A channel showing CC playing in a game thrilled them. They wanted to be like Caitlin. They put a round wire hoop on the top of a tall stake in the ground. They put the names and numbers on t-shirts and ran around headed to the hoop. I think they had someone teaching them how to play but they were full of joy and laughter nust doing what they were doing. The clark effect went to a small safe haven in Africa.
