The only U-Green enclosure worth buying is the Black metal one because all the others have max 2TB I think? And the black one supports 8TB (check they’re website listing for one and scroll down to them being compared to check) Not that I have the money for a 8TB SSD, but for being the same price it just makes sense to go for that, also it looks better in my opinion Also all of them are USB 3.2 Gen 2 Atleast mine came with a thermal pad to put on top of the SSD (not sure if the others do but they didn’t in this video) They’re all PCIE Gen-3 And it’s 10Gbps = 1GB per second read and write, though ur experience might vary depending on what ur doing with it and ur cables speed (PS, most come with a USB C cable capable of about 900mb per second 👍)
Do you have overheating issues? I put a Samsung 980 in it and the performance is eratic, there are batches of high speed followed by really slow or no speed while the ssd controller cools then fast again. Sometimes it just disconnects. I wonder if a different ssd would be better.
Hi, it looks like the drive needs to be allocated and then format. I suggest to open computer management and go to disk management (in administration mode) you will see the drive listed there. Then right click the drive, mark partition active, you can then change drive letter etc.

There is another SSD enclosure from "Orico". They are better and more reliable
I didn't see you apply thermal pad?

Good question, I use a Kingston 250GB SSD and I have no issues, maybe compatibility issue.
What is the read and write speed of the enclosure? I wanna buy it. Can you give me idea of speed ?
tested transmission rate reaches 1280MB/S.
Amazon link on the description.
What about heating issues?
You didn’t show how you plugged in the Ssd properly
I will do another video for this, thank you for the feedback.
