Little note: If you use GoldenGlow instead of Steward, you can literally keep her in Steward’s position for the rest of the round without retreating her, and spam her skill whenever. She makes it a lot easier XD
Another little note : You have to spam it more carefully tho. GG may kill enemy that you have to stall for redeploy time and ruin everything.
3rd skill can be rlly helpful cuz at one a couple got past my defenders but GG killed them off before they got to the blue box

Place Lappland E2 just below Gnosis, facing right. You can leave here there for the rest of the fight, and her 5 sec silence should make quick work of those dodging enemies
Gnosis has been putting in some major work during this event. He's really gotten an opportunity to shine here.

If you have a Jaye even just E1 low level. His S1 can help a lot as a budget silence to lower RNG on left side. Or even Podenco anywhere, really.
U can also use lappland S2 where she can hold a lane by her self
@@shreken4871 Lappland is usable on left side. For right side requires E2 otherwise too unstable but yes.
@@Develon22 I find Lappland to be very squishy. She needs a defender in front of her or she usually dies against stronger enemies.

if you can't find a E2 Gnosis mx level, it is possible with E2 level 20 with skill level 7 (My Gnosis is with those levels) needs a good timing but still posible with a good squad

Adding another defender or otherwise tanky operator in the free slot can also let you sandwich the boss during the second phase to work around his stun
Had lappland help behind the defenders and instead of melantha with a healer I decided to use skadi instead. Finally managed to clear it.

thanks. with a little tweak in the strategy got the chest as well. Gnosis makes it as if the boss doesn't even exist.

@@YusufSutarko killed the boss on the right lane next to the sniper. Let the brandguider come to the tile below and right of perfumer before blocking it with the defender. Afterwards when the boss respawns it doesn't matter if the boss kills the two medic and the sniper just keep Gnosis alive (I had to use my third medic for that). Once the boss gets in Gnosis's attack range he can stall (since the boss now have increased res) while waiting for the time to redeploy the AOE and wandering medic. Once that's done the rest of the strategy is exactly the same.

I didn't unlock the Obliterated City treasure, it says to clear SN-EX-8 with 3 star and letting the end speaker to gain at least 5 types of Directed evolution effects (0/1). How do i unlock this treasure?

Weird. I had everything set up waiting boss to die at 10:13 defender slowly pummeling the boss, then suddenly boss says: "LMAO XD" and proceed to phase through my defender, mission failed. wtf
Since the boss got the buff from the Brandguider, when it falls under 50% HP, it will quintuple its DEF and count as one additional enemy, so you would need a 4-Block Operator to block him when he's in that state.
I came here to find a tip and I didn't knew the boss can be blocked all this time.
I killed it on every map using the sheer force of anger.

Bro, once I discovered Kjera ice ability will damage the enemy no matter what and also deal good damage. Gnosis immediately came to mind. He is good for this event.
Has anyone managed to ge the second chest from this fight? I've cleared multiple times and i simply cannot get it. Could i be doing something wrong? It says the boss need to obtain at least 5 evolution traits and i've allowed it to go beyond that but leting it eat the final two at the same time.

I'm not sure if you have figured it out yet, but I'll just say my piece just in case any other AK players are confused by the objective.
Yes the boss needs to obtain 5 evolution traits, but what the description fails to mention is that, it must be 5 UNIQUE evolution traits, so the boss eating 2 evolution traits that give similar buffs doesn't count towards the 5. You'll notice during this stage, the relics can REPEAT, so keep an eye on that lol.
@@YusufSutarko Ok i figured it out! You need to let the boss obtain 5 "different" types of evolutions. That means, in the first phase you need to let the boss eat the Regressed Founder instead of the Brandguider because that is the only one in the fight. Meaning you'll need a physical damage dealer to kill the boss in the second form.
I wish the description a bit more clear on that. Hope this helps you.

I solved it by not deploying melantha for spawn killing the second time
Instead I let Gnosis kill it around 7:55

Very solid guide, can serve as a template. General advice: Challenge Mode, Trimmed Medal, Chest are easy if done separately, in three different runs. CM + Chest is also easy. What saves the player is that all 5 carts are available, just get ASPD bonus for ranged and healing bonus for melee.
We will see The Endspeaker again in SN-S-5 I presume... How many times do we have to kill him before he stays dead...

@@GrayWolf1997 I used the same guide as above, only did not deploy Melantha for the first time. Gnosis kills the freak when it comes near, then just use cart to clean creep as usual. Boss eats the buff, after that continue with the guide normally.

To be fair there is only 2 instance that you need to clean the nethersea title and it come within the same wave.
Why is my borrowed Gnosis unable to freeze the boss like in this video?
Can I ask how eating the remains works? I mean when the boss absorbs the remains and transforms.. this is more complicated than SN-8
the boss will eat the remains that its closest to him you will see the remains glow that is a sign that the boss will eat it
In EX stage the boss eat 2 remains Enemies from 1 top right and 1 top left and got their buff. The symbols on top enemies head tell you their buff for the boss
In addition to what the other two have said, the boss eats everything in the little AoE- so if there are multiple buffs there, the boss will eat all of them.
@@caitlin-from-pokemon ill also add that if the boss eats your ops within the range your ops cant be deployed in a certain amount of time
It's the same mechanic he does as in SN-10, except he eats the closest 2 instead of the closest one.
Am I the only one not receiving the reward from the Obliterated City Chest? I swear I see 2 buffs in each of his phases on him, which adds up to 6 Directed Evolution effects. Am I missing something?

Man, the best Gnosis I could find was e2l60 skill 7. Not strong enough to do what is shown here. Fortunately Lumen and Jaye could pick up the slack. This event has some hard boss fights.
That's weird, because my support Gnosis matched that and did just fine. Maybe because it had a level 1 module too?

I just realized that I can't use Exusiai here because she will KILL the boss faster than intended. SHIT.
I used Exu she works fine. I just manage to keep Gnosis alive (my both medics died so I used the third medic I had), and by the time the second stage boss died I had enough time and dp to redploy both AOE medic and wandering medic.
You can use Exu. Just tweak the deployment a bit, deploying Exu after the boss passes the tile, stalling the flowers with your vanguard, guardian and WM.

I gave up on SN-EX-8 I'm just not good enough at timing it, coupled with the fact I'm a Phone player and not a PC player. It just makes life hard.
For the treasure chest, you need the boss to consume all 3 buffs, to do that you need to have the buffs on the right side stack on top of each other and the boss will consume both side, resulting in 3 buffs. But it will be very dangerous for very low end squad unless you have burst damage like Surtr/Monst3r/NTR.
you don't need to do that. you only need 5 different things and right side spawn 6 different things. For high end players, just spawn camp

8:30 I deployed Myrtle too fast and the jellyfish was out of Gnosis' range. Fortunately I have NTRK or I'd be waiting forever on Myrtle 💀

@@daishi592 it’s MUCH harder with just Jaye. He only has his 2 x 1 range. That’s a huge weakness on some stages that use Lapland. It’s crucial she hits things in her traditional guard range. You’ll have to pair Jaye with S2 podenco and even then, might be an anxiety ridden clear.
@@spiderdude2099 when i play at first time at that event, i had problems only with dodge mobs. And only cn-ex-5, i watch tutor, where was explained about silence) and now about frost) in view of the goal i see no obstacles)

3rd little helper, the 2nd skill, increasing stun, freeze, etc duration so it's easier for gnosis to freeze with his basic attack

m3 makes his sp require less SP but S7 still probly be fine but i guess u need better timing for that

Locked chest is different from trimmed medal, chest you need to let him get 5 types of evolutions.
On the plus side, you are now allowed to use all of Handy's tools, so that makes the run a bit easier.

same, after so many tries i finally did but i didn't get the chest ;____;
@@shia842 lmao well I finally did it took me several tries to realize that the boss can eat 2 buffs with one swoop if they are close to each other ( 4 tiles around the dropped buff) .the boss will only eat the 2 last buff that drops.
Why the mold is spreading like crazy
the mold is like a less issue since you can just clean it or lessen the spread time of it the real threat are the enemies here especially the one with the high evasion also when on the molds they cant be blocked which leads to leaking

the last phase boss kept walking trough everyone, while frozen, and none of my units targeted it.
Totally stable and non-bugged game.
meh guide, you cant have too much dps on your sniper or else the whole plan fails
