- Hardcore Tarkov is a self imposed set of rules in which I play through with an objective to get as far into the game as possible! This series will be out daily until the objective is met! We've cut out parts of the footage to speed it up (loading screens and some menu time if nothing really happens).

@@JD-tz8bp Technically, we're the testers if the game. You never know, maybe when the game is completed a standard acc will have nothing.
@@JGH1LL No offense but i cant see an entire lobby of people just running around with nothing looking for guns, the initial brickwall that is learning tarkov would just become unsurmountable for most of the playerbase who doesnt sink 12 hrs a day into it.

The Hardcore series is so useful in helping me learn more about barters - i never used to use them, but as time has gone on watching Pest doing Hardcore ive really started to appreciate how useful they are.
By the way. On the right side of the traders inventory, you can select barter trade only: quickly learn all that you can do

Would be cool if Ground Zero had a higher chance to spawn low tier weapons on the PMC bodies and stuff to encourage newer players to run their PMC instead of their scav when they need something.
as a new player, 100%. I can't make enough money on ground zero to fund dying every raid because there is no loot that I can grab without dying. I would like some stuff that is easier to find and get out with.
@@GoldBean2752yea ground zero doesnt have much money if you cant flea market the barter items you get. Try scavving/playing other maps for better vendor money
@GoldBean2752 ground zero is just to get feet wet. Get used to the game mechanics using ground zero and the arena mode to get better with gun fighting. And take it slow on other maps. Woods, custom, factory were my first maps learned. It's taken 3 wipes to learn the ways of the chad. Still only sporting a 6+ kd and a 65% raid survivability. Just don't play like it's COD. Run n gun in tarkov will have almost no success for a newer player
@@GoldBean2752 Go on scav raid everytime its possible, grab everything (its easier if you know whats valuable and whats not) but try to keep up to 1 rule. 1 slot = 10.000rubbles. Just dont pick up for example 2x2 item that total cost is around 20k, ur wasting 4 slots, u can grab 4 items 10k each = 40.000rubbles instead of 20k. Just a quick tip. You can try to get enough money to buy JunkBox for these items, it saves a lot of space till u get to lvl 15 to sell all ot that. Every wipe after i hit lvl 15 i get around 10mln rubbles by selling things looted as a scav. 1 scav raid if u just go from box to box/crate to crate you can get 300k+ rubbles.
@@GoldBean2752I’ve just started playing this week and honestly the best way to make money early is to get out as a scav and sell everything in the screen directly after.
Been making anywhere from 50K to 200K per raid. I personally wish they would make players be able to safe pocket their mission items so they don’t waste money and gear delivering something they’ve already found. But that’s the nature of the game I suppose haha
I have been WAITING for this. I know it must be hard, to keep this up after all these years. Please, for us, you're the best.

I saw a clip of someone yelling help out the window of a car and getting pulled over by a cop before so I’m sure.

Honestly, I was watching this in the kitchen whilst cooking. I heard the rear gate smack and turned around to see my neighbour at the window. Had a bit of explaining to do!
The snow adds so much more to this game. Really feels like a pure survival sim.

the little timer to show how long you're in the menu just shows that extra effort you put into these videos, I understand its probably your great editors but its still nice to see the effort that goes into making the viewing experience better

I love hardcore. Whenever someone from my playgroup picks up Tarkov I recommend watching this instead of just general clips. You learn so much more when someone with this much knowledge has to play with something on the line.

Saw it and assumed it was from the guy at the end of the room, Pest probably thought the same. Seeing how multiple people are mentionning it I came back to it and checked, the laser is gone after the first guy dies, so either his mate turned it off (very unlikely as you'd probably hear it at that distance) or it was indeed from the guy he killed

I've got thousands of hours in Tarkov, and if not thousands, at least high hundreds of watch hours of Pestily. Yet somehow... Hardcore always draws me in and never feels boring. Keep up the good work Pest. You're awesome.

Headsets are worth little to nothing unless xcel or comtac4 and a 2x2
Fyi, the actual reason is because Pest hates how snow sounds through headsets

I got camped so hard trying to get that key and the hard drive on ground zero. 2 people every time, just waiting for you to come down the stairs if you got a good spawn to get the key.
Yeah, when he found the key on the body so late in the round... normally the door is either already open or there are pmcs waiting.

I just bought the game two days ago and in most games I would be mad but I know how hard this game is and it really doesn’t feel bad. It’s frustrating when you finally find a good gun or need to hand in something for a task but that gets my heart pumping!
At 16:19 I honestly thought the hesitation was because he saw the red dot in the wall to the right. But it was the spidey sense that got the quick kill instead
Does pest hate headsets? Cuz when he didn't have nothing he didn't pick up the black sports and when he looted the second kill from AGS he didn't loot them either

5:15 The Last time i was screaming for " Help " During a raid, the police kicked down my door because I wasn't answering the door when they arrived and only heard the sound of me yelling for help like an idiot. In raid a group of PMCs armed to the teeth advanced on my position and stared me down as I stood AFK. Being held at gun point IRL and In-Game at the same time is a new for me.
Plot twist. Pest didnt realize it, but the "mosin man" was actually Bearki. From one of the raids where Zchum taught her all the new camping spots on that map... lol
If I heard "HAAALP!! HALLLLLP!!" come through prox-chat while creeping around in Tarkov... I'd shit bricks laughing!

It would be incredible for them to implement a different account type for Hardcore or "Zero to Hero" gameplay. Separate from standard gameplay servers.

This is some of the most entertaining shit I think I've ever seen: grown man who is a standup guy and master of a PVP focused game intentionally handicaps himself by deleting his entire stash It is fascinating to see someone who is one of THE BEST at the game play it from a position of complete weakness at the outset. I think I will enjoy this series, and wish I had started watching right when it started.
I particularly enjoyed the "HALP! HALP!" after the Scav managed to get one pellet to him you Pest! A true Chad focuses ON THE WIN, even if they have to cry help to get it!
I was a bit surprised at the loot he did not pickup and then drop though.

Yes hardcore! Oh my god I'm laughing hard. Running naked in ground 0 was what I had to do to finish many of the early quests. Too many rats and campers. But screaming out for help really got to me😂😂😂. I mean I asked for help and players straight up shot even more times! I'm going to keep editing my comment the more I watch this. I wish I was there to help Pest. Screaming for help stuck in the back of a van! Without context it's already comedy gold!

That's definitely the most frustrating thing about starting the wipe, all the guys not doing quests or did them and then sit there in the Terragroup office camping the quest office or sitting on the dead end stairs
