Design wise the frame looks sci-fi AF BUT the today's trend with e-bikes is stupid at its most and because of this bikes are getting more and more expensive. People are getting too lazy to pedal whenever it's off road or not and that's a shame.
Ordered mine in June 2023. These bikes were supposed to ship in August of 2023 but Nireeka has been continually pushing back the shipping date. It's now November and the bikes still have not shipped, with customers posting on the Indiegogo campaign that the orders are still being delayed. Now Nireeka is blaming it on the shipping company, and still provide no proof that any bikes have shipped at all. For anyone considering ordering one, beware what you may be getting yourself into. I would advise against ordering until we can see proof that people are actually receiving their bikes.
Is this an issue with just the Mega? I’m not looking for a Mega but instead for a Prime S. Want to know if the new release of the Mega has shipping delays or all models are experiencing it.
@@memphissfinest I would say that's only the Mega since it's the latest model. From what I witnessed, they have delivery problems with the new models, not the Prime which is at least a two years old product.
We've installed the throttle on the left because the rear gear shifter is on the right, so there is no room for the throttle. The only option is to use a twist throttle on the right. However, we don't have this option since we're using Bafang's standard parts, and they only have the thumb throttle. Having the throttle on the left seems a bit weird, but you'll get used to it real quick.
The breakes in Mega is much noiser than in Revenant (front) :) (and cheaper ?) Why? the front suspension fork also looks less solid and cheaper than in the Revenant... ?
Thanks for your interest. These bikes are different so it's up to your preferences. The Revenant is a hub-drive with less torque and plus tires, and the Mega is a mid-drive with 200nm peak torque and fat tires.
@@Nireeka The Revenant is a better choice yes Revenant has less torque but you will spend less money when it comes to replacing your drivetrain if you choose the mega.
I was considering buying a mega, but I live in the EU .Unfortunately, the bike is illegal in the EU. The reason is the engine with more than 250W. The speed can probably be throttled to 25km / h, but is that also possible with the power? It is important that a label is applied by the manufacturer that the bike complies with EU directives, is that possible? Is Nireeka also thought to supply the EU market? So to offer such beautiful bikes with small engine that comply with laws?
just don't ride it at stupid speeds and they won't stop you :) I ride a 1000w e-bike in the UK and don't have any problems ,besides at my age (60) i try to live what's left of my life how i want too :)
@@jamjar47lucky you. Ride your 1000W bike in germany, and you will have problems, even without stupid speed, simply by general control. If you want to sell products in the EU, you have to comply the laws there. It's as simple as that.

Yes, the mounts are identical and we use caliper adapters. The rear rack will be aluminum. And, yes. You can install a headlight and connect it to the controller as long as it's compatible with the Bafang voltage.
The bike in this video is 18" and might be suitable for you if you're an experienced rider. We don't have any smaller frame options on this bike, unfortunately.

Yes they ship to all countries and Im 90 percent sure Brazil is covered. They will charge you factory destination and shipping and tax. Might be more expensive then in America or Dubai, where the company is based from. They are also Canada location. As it says on the bike Assembled in Canada. This owner has a brother which I think works for him. This guy is Persian and has a nice thick accent. A 12 year old can do a better job then this nut case LOL.
We don't have a 29" option on this model. We have another model with 29", though: nireeka.com/configurator/nyx-v1 It has 120nm of torque and is powerful enough to climb almost anything.

If you put the throttle on the right side where it should be I would buy one. The left side is just plain stupid. I know it can be done because I have a Paselec GS9 bike that has it on the right side. For anyone looking for a great value bike the Paselec GS9 is awesome, I could just use a bit more power.
You can install the throttle on either side. We have it on the left side because the shifter is on the right, so the throttle needs to be moved further in and a bit harder to reach.
@@Nireeka That is a bad design. My Paselec GS9 has it on the correct (right) handlebar and there is no "further...harder reach". Anyone who has ever rode a motorcycle should avoid the left had throttle. This being Nireeka's 6th production bike they should have figured it out by now. I want to buy one of these as an update to my Paselec as I'm looking for more power, but just can't do it because of the throttle.
I think it is irresponsible for a company who sells bike with anti-lock brakes would not add a front light to it product. I mean it is stupid and shows that the addition of the product is an after thought versus an actual concern for its customers. As a avid motorcyclist and ebiker, I know it is more important to be seen as it is to stop. Spending a couple of more on a light that would make it easy to be seen is more worthwhile then pushing speed. What good is a nice looking bike that has been crumbled up on the pavement because the rider was not noticed. I hope you correct this error. I have seen you had reviewer that market your bike with fancy music and nice shot but wearing no helmet and haphazardly riding down the street blowing through stop signs and riding on sidewalks. This leads me to believe you are not all that serious about selling safety with the abs. Do better. I have followed you brand but decided against it when Trek offered a better bike with more features at the same price. I started looking again at getting one when I saw you were offering the Shimano ABS but was disillusioned with your marketing and supposedly reviews. Why not do a much more serious and technical review of the bike for those who would like a mature discussion? Talk about the ABS and why it is important. Offer a model with a headlight with the ability to flash as an daylight running light. Research shows the effectiveness of running lights for bikes The increased safety benefits of running lights for cars has been well-established, and the same benefits is seen for cyclists who use them on their bikes. According to a 2012 study out of Denmark, cyclists with “permanent running lights” on their bikes had a 19 percent lower crash rate than a control group without running lights. Come on Nireeka, you can do better.

No, our most powerful hub motor is 1000w nominal with a 1300w peak power on the Revenant.

While we don't recommend changing the wheel size, theoretically a 29x3 or a 27.5x3 would work.
