@@LiliumCruoremthe problem with xp penalty is that when the game is too hard for you (even in a softcore) and dying less is not an option. For example, you have penalties in Sekiro. I spent almost 30min to kill the first tutorial mob in Sekiro (when the game teaches you the keybinds), and then more then 3 hours to kill the first elite mob on the map, and then several days to kill the first boss. I simply do not have a fast enough brain to react to all the movements, I react with a lag of 1 second and that's enough for you to be instakilled. I finished the game, but took almost a year. I still have PTSD after this game and the moment you realize that every single death of your almost inifinite number of deaths are penalized. At the same time, I play in platinum league in Overwatch and found my way to work around the slow reaction, but it's because death penalty in OW is very small and eventually (after a year or so) I found the way and I play this game for 6 years
You can do a lot of interesting things with permadeath, but exp losses on death are still stupid.
This has to be one my favorite series by asmon. Watching people die in a 20 year old game never cease to amaze him.

The last guy should have petried ideally but it's understandable that once you log in and reorient yourself to the situation, that it takes a few secs. I guess he should've made the decision to smash petri regardless of the situation that he'd log back into.
Yeah, stupid DC, but he Ice Blocks were easy to spot immediately when he got back in. He had petri on his action bars and he failed to click on it. Could've saved himself.

I mean he probably opened his bags to find his petri. the only thing I will never understand with these lvl 60s that actually make it to 60 and clear mc/bwl/zg/aq/naxx. why tf would you panic open bags to find your petri amongst your unorganized shit show for inventory when you already have it on your action bars. he even has it on two action bars but without a keybind. he totally deserved to die. He has keybind for bandage ,LiP, healthstone but not petri? amazing how you made it to naxx without a petri keybind.
btw I don't know whether petri works against that ice blast or not, I would assume it works? coulda just popped sprint to nearest iceblock tbh but i dont even see his sprint on his action bars?
If he had his Petri bound to something he MAY have been alright? Instead had to open his bags to dig for it.

and season of discorvery isnt even hardcore right? so he lost his level 60 hardcore character to avoid a death on a level 25 that can respawn...?
12:00 warriors take +10% dmg in zerker stance, and -10% dmg in defensive stance. This applies to fall damage too. This guy might have actually survived that fall had he been in defensive stance instead of zerker.

That last guy should have immediately alt f4ed then logged back in. Doing that right away when you see the signs of a DC increases the chances of recovering by ten fold. I know I've DCed twice while leveling in HC and fortunately haven't died to a DC.
Imagine going back into melee range of Ragnaros in hardcore when he is at 1% health and dying
5:26 They attempted to pull Dark keeper Vorfalk who spawns with two guards in the bar (The Grim Guzzler) in the middle of a big patrons pack and any knowledgeable person or party would simply skip pulling that, reset BRD to find another Dark Keeper or get it on another run, Dark keepers in BRD drop [Dark Keeper Key] which opens The Dark Vault which has [Heart of the Mountain] quest and most importantly [Burning Essence] which is an ingredient along [Libram of Resiliance] for [Lesser Arcanum of Resilience] which provides 20 Fire Resistance on Head or Leg piece, which tanks need for certain MC and may be BWL encounters like Baron Geddon & Ragnaros who deal only fire damage
There are total of six possible Dark Keepers in BRD, determined by RNG & triggered by clicking the golden picture portrait to the left of Warder Stillgliss at the Vault
1- Vorfalk > The Grim Guzzler (the bar, inside a pack of patrons)
2- Uggel > Hall of Crafting (the golems area down near Incendius)
3- Pelver > The Domicile (in a room at the dorms area)
4- Ofgut > West Garrison (next to General Angerforge)
5- Zimrel > Upper Arena (if Arena event wasn't done spectators will be hostile)
6- Bethek > The Vault (at the door of The Vault, literally turn around to find him)
Rogues do solo vault runs (skipping the harder dark keepers like the bar one) to sell [Lesser Arcanum of Resilience] to other players since it can be applied in trade but this is HC, if you can't trade you will have to pick the [Burning Essence] from The Black Vault yourself to make the arcanum since this item is BoP which adds more pressure on players to attempt pulling that dark keeper in the bar, leading to this.
Imagine writing this out when you can look up the fight for yourself, LOL

Any deaths like that last one is the reason why people left, I love wow but once I died to a problem that I wasn’t my fault and blizzard servers faults that’s when I quit and never got back into it because what if it happens again , atleast if they have vod footage or something a restore for such deaths but I get it. once you let one in everyone will want to but if they had some balls they can just say no fuck you and deny some and approve others

The last death hurts, I've had a lvl 42 die of DC. Could not imagine a naxx geared lvl 60 char death by DC :(
He panicked. Sprint and hide behind ice would have saved him. or a shortcut with petri.

I feel kinda blessed to have only played retail where the tanks get unconditional aggro on everything in a 3 miles radius just for being tank spec. Seems like a lot of classic raid deaths are tied to unexpected aggro reset mechanics (or just doing too much damage on occasion).
You'll love to learn Taunts can be resisted.
How do hardcore players have such bad reaction times. That other tank called for the taunt like 4 times over like 5 seconds and... nothing. He just let him die.
To be fair, I should have lip’d when I walked back in at 3%… my potion cd was up
5:00 that boss does a -75% healing curse for 10sec, if the mage was kiting skeletons or some other bs the tank doesnt get decurses and healing does basically nothing. He also has a shadow damage aura, which ticks every sec or two, and has a 30 yard range, but for some reason the whole group decided to stand inside it, as you can see by them all losing hp at the same time
also the healer is oom
I didn't understand the tab-out double kill at first. It's been around 15 years since I last played WoW and assumed that the player was transported into a illusionary or dream zone by the boss or something. Playing two accounts at the same time has got to be crazy rather than common nowadays, right? Right?...

People. You're not playing World of Warcraft. With hardcore you're playing a RISK MANAGEMENT SIMULATOR. Everything you do is about minimizing the chances of fuckups and disaster. And there's almost 20 years of documentation out there to help you. There's no reason for this type of carnage. Failure is the mark of poor planning and decision making.

DC death at the end is completely his fault. Getting DCd is pretty unlucky, surviving the entire DC is INSANELY lucky, and then he didnt have petri bound, so he died.

After spawning the mobs shouldn't aggro on you instantly. There should be a 3-5s delay before they can aggro (unless they are being attacked).
That 7:45 situation happens to me as well with friend who was new to game. We came as 2 warriors to spot where already was that item that summons ghosts he said : hay, I got something in backpack - clicked it and it summons another " portal " and we have 1 minute chase where we used 2 dummies , 2 grenade, pots , sticky slimes and engeneering trinket for 3 sec stunn. All lived but aroud 5-8% each. Best experience 😅

What I don't understand is how these hardcore players have 100+ hours to go to the raid or dungeon and don't have time to watch a 15-20 minute video that explains what to do and what not to do. Like that first guy who died due to debuff, I mean, these are not new raids, nor are they too complicated. If he had spent even 10 minutes watching raid guide, he could have saved his 100+ hours of progress. It feels like some of these HC players want to feel badass without being one.
Oh, yes the jump voice is real ( I heard it too)... it has to do with being scared of heights, wanted to get down asap and the fastest down is jumping, I read somewhere. But I believe it's only people (severe) acrophobia that causes them to panic and taking the fastest way back to the ground. I got over my fear by living in a 33rd floor apartment for over a decade.
It's not a voice for me, but a "need to jump" it's really weird and I prefer to not be near a cliff or something.

The packs at 16:50 definitely weren’t pulled by Garen. That was 3 packs that all came at the same time, the Hunter fucked up the pull and didn’t bother telling anyone.
