Rise records has also signed man overboard, transit and a loss for words, none of which are anything like the ones you mentioned before, i don't think its the label that is that problem, its just the scene these days, kids would rather listen to a 3 minute breakdown than an actual song

Miss May I, The Plot In You, and The Color Morale didnt change because of the label. Shit, I know Garret personally, bands sound change after every single recording. Being on a label doesnt change a bands sound, like that guy said, pretty much all bands choose their producer.

Labels often choose producers, as they pay for the production, they can also have an input on how things sound, because if the band doesn't produce what they want, which is usually what is going to sell (they are a business after all) they can be kicked of the label, or not be offered another contract

I agree with the fact that labels change bands, but I feel like this band is perfect for Rise or otherwise because they're the type of band that sells nowadays. High clean vocals, with a good screamer. Think For All Those Sleeping or Crown the Empire.

Small critique, the drum track was much too intense during the beginning part of the song. It sounded more fast paced and heavy than the rest of the instruments and vocals. Good, but as a fan, just something I noticed.
