【Kyoukaisen】Eighty Six |＜ORCHESTRAL VERSION＞

I felt that I could call it "hope."

An orchestral arrangement of "Kyoukaisen" (Boundary Line) by amazarashi, from the series Eighty Six.
Finally finished this one! This one honestly came to me pretty easily but I still spent a bit more time with it than usual since I wanted to hone in on what I was making; I usually just draw from my pre-existing skillset to make my covers, but I wanted to use this and my other covers going forward to be actual avenues for improvement. That being said, I feel that this one actually turned out pretty great despite being relatively experimental; hope you all enjoy it too!
This series is actually one that I wasn't expecting to be anything special when I first watched it, only picking it up since I saw that it would have a Sawano soundtrack. (And as anyone knows, anything with a Sawano soundtrack is worth watching) After watching the first episode back when it aired last year though, I promptly proceeded to purchase every officially translated volume of the light novel and binge read them in 3 days. The anime is a phenomenal adaptation with great pacing, animation, and of course music. But if you can't wait for that last episode to drop next month, the light novels are absolutely worth reading as well. This is a story about people with nothing but a metal coffin to call home learning that there is more to life than death. Frankly, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't at least give it a chance. Also Shirabii's art is really pretty.
