Vanessa, the most talented, huggable, charismatic and beautiful female violinist! Thank you Vanessa for sharing your flamboyant music with the millions of your admirers! Ray
"Beat down by teachers". I can relate. I gave up music in H.S. because I was beat down by a music teacher who was more interested in xmas concerts than us developing our talents. Having been in job interviews only to have them say your "over qualified". In those cases I was but I was willing to do what was needed to "get in and get to work". Not only is Vanessa Mae an outstanding violinist and a lovely lady, but she is an inspiration. After 25 years absence, I am now back into music for myself and playing the violin instead of that damn band cornet. My father's steinway baby grand is being refurbished and I will soon take delivery of a new Korg. Thank You Vannessa for showing an old engineer a new venue of personal pleasure. You are the greatest!
Vanessa Mae is truly Brilliant and a real natural God GivenTalent as a fantastic violinist. A real and honest talent and genius. I love all your music, especially "Summer". Continue good luck and God Bless you, forever.
Too clever by half. A serious push for mediocrity. I have to disagree with the thrust of this fellow's belief... To be happy as a child, you have to fit in. Can't do that by showing off how smart you are.
I was really disappointed by this video. The panel were presented with a very interesting topic and did nothing with it, besides skim over fluffy subjects which have nothing to do with how intelligent females are perceived at all. Women are certainly treated differently if they display academic intelligence; their bookishness is often ridiculed, and are graded on their 'fuckability.' Irrelevant nonsense. Don't bother if you're interested in learning anything about sexist attitudes towards strong, bright women.

Where was your intelligence, dear Vanessa, when you were performing in Chechnya? Did you need half a million dollars that badly?
She had plastic surgery
Compared to her looks from previous decades she's just became skinnier and pale.
