SHOOT me a message on IG FAMILY!!
bobby sleeping: 👁️👄👁️
I agree with you man,
Mother's day isn't saying that women have to be mothers but it's to honor the women who are already mothers but the mother's day card company making money scam is kinda true though, we could honor them without a big company making money off of it, make a gift for your mother
True it is not necessary to buy expensive ass crap but to remember and give her something meaningful, it could be anything.
Whoever came up that it wasn't necessary is just a sour person
Not sure anyone really would argue that Mother's Day is just encouraging that. If anything, that's a broader social pressure from needing to conform to an in group where many people are parents. And there can be a feeling of alienation: me and my brother are practically the only people our age in our family on nearly either side that don't have kids. And we have many cousins, though 1st cousin wise...maybe 4, but they all have kids
01:50 i thought it might be fun to talk about the famous mom in history who
Owned slaves 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Something about King of the Hill is they throw you a ball in a way you can catch it, even if it is a low one but you get it. Most of the episodes are about things similar like this: is so relatable to daily things like this situation
Keep up the King of the Hill bruh. There’s so much we haven’t explored yet
Fkin Peggy, a week of staying home and she's singing about a trapped turtle 😂
Boomhauer's mom is basically just his voice pitched up a few octaves
Of course she called it the Peggy Hill house - She doesn't know Peggys husbands name yet
There's some milk in the fridge thats about to go bad....and there it goes.
finally some king of the hill ive been feening looking like bobby hill like a zombie lmao
2:02 yeah Bobby is on that stuff 😂
I was in a similar situation to Bobby in this episode. I was really smart (aside from math) and it made me antsy in class because I was bored and didn't like doing the work. As a result I was prescribed ADHD medication when I didn't need it. It had the opposite effect and made bounce off the walls and act up in class all the time. We didn't work it out until I was in 8th grade that it was an issue for me, I started in Kindergarten.
Humanity really needs to be more careful with prescribing medications and affixing labels to people.
@@balanc-joy9187 Parents want a quick fix, so they turn to "medication" without thinking.
@@KewneRain I really wish people wouldn't do that. I know adult life is hard and stressful, but if other people are involved, you _need_ to be more careful.
Bobby is a weird kid man
19:20 The issue *Quizzy* is that "In the past women were _forced_ to _only_ be mothers, they had _no_ other options" and some people make a false connection that "Oh, being a mother _at all_ is a form of oppression and control then".
They miss that the problem was _the lack of choice_ not the motherhood itself. To put it simply, it's some people taking "things were bad and still are in some ways about this issue, so let's go in the complete opposite direction as far as we can" and a comparison would be if you had an infestation, you burned down the house or even the neighborhood instead of put out traps or call an exterminator.
Now, unfortunately, there are still people who _do_ think and argue quite loudly that women should "go back to the kitchen" so that only feeds into it. It's two sides of an issue at extremes basically sniping at each other and assuming "If you aren't with me, you're against me" so it just goes round and round and they get more and more extreme and making issues out of things that aren't an issue, while ignoring the real problems or ways to fix them.
It happens with a lot of other social issues too, with varying amounts of extremism and what form it takes, but a saying that a UA-camr I enjoy said holds true "Extremists are as ridiculous as each other"
Women and men can easily do a lot of the same things, since our own individual strengths and weaknesses make more of an impact than what is dictated by our sex, and lead whatever lives they want, as they should, but for some people, that isn't enough. Other people doing something that _they_ don't want to do or don't approve of is a problem for them, so they seek to shame and argue against it.
Hope that helps!
Quizzy ain't reading that lmao
If women are allowed the option, it's arguably far better. But there are those that HATE the idea of women having agency for whatever deranged reason, same with abortion rights
@@ToHoldNothing Yep. They either have convinced themselves or been convinced that society will just collapse if women are given any rights, or they just want someone beneath them.
@@balanc-joy9187 Not unlike people that exaggerate with anything that often has a fad popularity and then sinks into the fringes or has weird resurgences (like VR)
@@ToHoldNothing Huh, hadn't thought of it that way.
audio mixing was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better on this one..your way more level with the video
I watch with my speaker sometimes so its much appreciated!!
Damn you didn’t miss a beat with John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt song lol😆
"...his name is my name too." lol
Whenever we go out,
the people always shout,
Thee goes John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt
Ya da da da da da da da
Thanks for the KoTH vid man, they're always a good time 😊
I can't watch this episode without thinking of the YTP
And that's all I'm gonna say out loud about this video
@paulohernanndizz3506 "is that a tattoo?"
"Uh huh. You like it?"
"Oh! I-! Um! Well-"
"So-"
*"AAAAAHHHHHH!"*
Misandry!
That boy ain't right 😂
I know you said you stuttered Quizzy, but I honestly think you did a pretty good Boomhauer gibberish-talk impression
That is exactly what adderall did to me 😅
Don't worry, parents just put your kids on drugs. There will be no possible repercussions. There's no possible way they will ever grow up to be drug addicts because the pills no longer create the same effect. Their lives will be fine. Do whatever it takes to lie to yourself and just give your kids drugs😂
For those who don't know, I am being sarcastic
Research seems to show that people with ADHD are the most likely to abuse drugs, regardless of whether they used Adderall or other medications in childhood. But people that do take medication are less likely to abuse drugs for a multitude of reasons, one of which is they no longer feel the need to numb the mind or use bad coping mechanisms like tons of caffeine.
At some point you do reach an equilibrium and don't need to keep increasing the dose, you stop feeling it and it's your new baseline. That initial feeling when you start the medication is not something you're supposed to keep by increase the dose.
People with ADHD generally have shorter lifespans due to risk taking and impulsive behavior. Obviously medication isn't the magic fix all, but neither is physical therapy and regular therapy, typically they both work best together than they do alone. There's lots of interesting research mostly on children with ADHD, the mechanisms of this disorder, and things that help like balance exercise and fine motor skills physical therapy like learning piano, combined with medication because that also fixes a deficiency in the brain.
@@Jaker788 My brother Alex had an addiction problem strictly rooted to his use of Adderall prescribed to him by his doctor. He was put on amphetamines as a kid and then he struggled with a methamphetamine problem for 10 years before he got clean. The doctor ruined his life with that medication
@@Jaker788correct. As someone with ADHD who was on unmedicated throughout my childhood, there is a difference between needing medication and not. The fact that's it's an actual neurodevelopmental disorder is often overlooked, because of stigma and a generally undereducated and misinformed public.
Factoring in things like neurotransmitter production and how ADHD brains are structured compared to more neurotypical brains is extremely important. ADHD can be hell to live with.
Well as someone with AuDHD (autism and adhd) n went undiagnosed n unmedicated till I was an adult, there's definitely a difference in needing medication n not, some people's ADHD is worse then others n all that, some people need no meds, some need very little, others need alot, some need stimulants n others need non-stimulants, etc...now to call it a Disorder is a bit odd in my personal opinion, I mean, just cuz were different, It's a disorder? 😅
And then, what necessarily what does it mean that we "need" medication? Cuz in the right environment, around the right people, etc, we can do really well without any medication, the "need" for medication for our ADHD is more so because the drugs help us act n conform more like how society wants us to honestly 🤷♂️
king of the hill marathon 🥵
As an ex nanny I can kind of confirm its not that hard of a job by time it gets really hard, they kids are in school for most they day 5 days a week. You can just form routines for the rest, like hardest part is just understanding the child and working with them. Most people try to treat a toddler like a grown ass adult, like I seen "they should know better!" Its like how they are 3 you are the one who is teaching them this is a failure you on you not you, teach them, its your job. Then they get to school and half the stay at home moms I know winge "its teacher job to teach them these things!" Then when time comes they got sign permision slip to teach them they complain about respobilty of either signing it or teach the kid themself sigh.
Whole thing is annoying as hell. As live in nanny for 6 years I seen so many times I have everything running well, and no major problems then see them half ass the fuck out shit, and do that "I am their mother I shouldn't have to be taught how to raise them, you telling me how to do it is undermining my authority!" Its like I am doing it in private not in front of the kid so get off that shit, and you clearly suck ass at this. I seen freinds and family with home body moms do same shit. Like I gone to family functions seen lazy house moms try to pin kids on me going "well your a nanny and your near my kid you are suppose to be watching them." Its like no I am under no contract, its your kid its your job to take the time to watch the kid, just because some one else pays me to watch them don't mean you can sit on your ass and drink wine when I am around and scape goat me out, I am guest not the help. Want me to be help we can negotiate a fee.
But annoys me so bad I know so many "house moms" show live with inlaws and only thing they do is pretend to care 2 hours a day, then do laundry, and MAYBE dishes. Its like come the hell on the kids are gone 9 hours a day, and your watching netflix drinking at 10am fuck off with its hard BS your board as fuck, but don't want work. I would get it if you had a stay at home job while kids are at school, but I seen some they push out another kid they can't afford just to make people stop asking what they do all day when the rest are at school all day then taking after school activities giving her even more free time.
Like annoys me so bad i got cousin like that works one week a month because she gets bored out her school and depressed if she don't. And ever since her eldest was 2 she signed her up for every class she could to get "time for herself" its like wtf do you do all day? Oh that is right drink wine, and talk shit wiht the other house moms in your nice neighborhood. Like it drives me nuts how they make it sound so hard then 2 glasses of wine in tell me how easy and bored they are sigh. But sober, and on social media its the "hardest job in the world" its like what taking them from one 4 hour class to the next before sending them to school for 9+ hours a day 5 days a week?
Damn you wrote an Essay 😤😐
11:24 when she can feel his SIR and its to much for her to handle 😂😂😂
Boomhaur mother and your reaction 😂😂😂😂😂
Tbf to Emily Hank did pretty much imply *heavily* that she was brainwashing Peggy. You start with disrespect, you shouldn't be surprised if disrespect is how others would respond. It's still his house though so idk.
Emily was judging Hank since when step a foot in the house, if you are a guest, is for common sense to be respectful
@@mmxxiii9503 Hank drugged his own son because he was different from someone like himself. Respect seems laughable at this point especially when being accused of brainwashing his wife.
@@Mattjazz47 you have a point in that one not going to lie, even so is not her problem at the end, is not like she was reasonable either
The Bobby episodes are some of my favorites, but Quizzy, when you say you don't like how he says things, would you call him a certified freak????
Thank you for another king of the hill bud quizzy! Today was a rough one but seeing this put me in a better mood . 😊
Totally agree because if she's independent she's not going to want to work with you on situation's all the time
1914 was only when Mother's Day was officialized by the government, it started in 1907

Bobby already took drugs in the S01E10 episode! As Bulletproof from the animated COPS show said in that one PSA: Alcohol and cigarettes are DRUGS. Say NO.
I can't believe this show actually did an episode where Bobby saw Luanne naked
lit ep
The trouble with what happened here is that no one listened to Peggy. Not hank. Not the women's group. Peggy started her trip through this lacking words for what she felt and ended it the same way. Everyone was too busy serving their own purposes, their own biases, to bother trying to dig into her feelings. Hank wanted a "traditional family," the guitar instructor saw what she wanted to see and just kept the misunderstanding going. Never actually asking Peg how she was feeling - just going "uh HUH" while trying to get a read.
It's annoying because sometimes taking the temperature of something like that CAN be necessary to take in code and assumption because people get abused and they can't tell you outright (regardless of gender). But that's not the same as deep-seated unhappiness with the current dynamic of your relationship and not knowing how to say so. The guitar instructor needed to take two seconds longer to actually get to know her instead of using Peggy as fodder for her politics.
True feminism stands up for someone's who's happy being a wife in a nuclear family the same way they do someone who wants to be green-haired and forever single. Fuck 'em if they don't want to stand for the housewife too. Me and my green hair would find a better group
The sad fact of history is that the idea of a housewife was only for rich people. Most wives and mothers worked. Farming, laundry, beer brewing, weaving, embroidery, etc. Most families needed the wife/mother to work. During the Industrial Revolution in the 19th century, however, it became easier and easier for more husbands to afford housewives. Women were built to work for money, but it's just that, physically, they are more suited to some different jobs. Men tend to do better with jobs that are more physically demanding because they're usually stronger and with more endurance. Women usually do better at jobs that require a nurturing/caring role, not that men can't be nurturing or caring. But that was just a broad generalization. Anyhoo, point is ... housewives are luxuries.
Gud damn it bobby😂😂
King of the hill is really good and funny 💚and quizzy your videos are really Dope keep them Bangers coming BRO 🤘🏾🙏🏽😊
You can't simultaneously support Peggy's independence and then act like the woman who encouraged it is somehow a reprobate
Hope you bought some this time ;)
More men though are breaking through the medical field.
The issue is not the behavior itself, it's the insistence by some that someone ought to act that way. People calling out the stereotypes aren't condemning those that willingly behave in that manner, but those who are pressured by society
Shame on you Luan is only. ........ I don't know old she is but shame on you
The problem is, the society in America is just backwards crazy nowadays me personally, and I’ve always said this men and women are meant to fulfill roles women do things better than men can do and men do things better than women can do the point is we focus on too much on who can do what better rather than just coexisting, and accepting the limitations that we were given at birth just as Quincy said himself there’s nothing wrong with being a traditional woman who stays at home, but unfortunately, the problem is given how the state of the country is nowadays no one really has any money and women unfortunately can’t really afford to live that lifestyle like our grandparents were able to the cost of everything it’s just too high and a man alone unless he’s working in 1 billion corporate building or something can’t really supply a whole family by himself and even nowadays, a man and woman working a job struggles to take care of just one child overall the point is we need to accept the things that we can and can’t do we need to stop trying to do things that the opposite sex just does better.
If you have to say you're not saying something, you probably ARE saying that thing. Work life balance in terms of family is something practiced, it's not just had initially
There is Parents' Day, btw, 4th Sunday in July since 1994 via Bill Clinton. A lot of the distinction is whether it's a federal holiday or more general public holiday
I did not see a trad wife rant in the forecast
It's clearly a thankless job if you act like the woman has most, if not all the responsibility, in childrearing and domestic issues. Marriage is a partnership, not a dynamic of a dominant and submissive
If Peggy can't sit around and relax which is easy to do maybe she's the one with ADHD
Quizzy you’re not understanding the danger.. if he lets her leave the kitchen and do whatever she wants. She’ll become a woke lesbian man hater and then who’s gonna make hank’s Dinner? You?
Just another note, it seems like the whole point of this was to focus on Bobby but that doesn’t seem to be happening
Really hard to believe this is some bit, some character, an act, versus your own biases bleeding in
@paulohernanndizz3506 Having biases and just resigning yourself to never challenge them are miles apart
I have no delusions of absolute equality in the world, but when we just act like the disagreements always justify segregation, it's not a good tendency
I like watching his videos but when you got a 30 minute video in 24 minutes of lectures, like come on bro
Wow, not circular and fatalistic at all..."Women are *programmed* to be the best woman"
Not everything that challenges something you're used to is disrespectful. You're little better than Hank taking offense here as if you get priority and hegemony in a house just because of being a man, some "authority figure"
Dude relax. He wasn’t being preachy he’s just giving his opinion. If it upsets you to this degree you can just not watch his videos.
Feminine and masculine are not female and male, learn the difference
@paulohernanndizz3506 So you think feminine behaviors mean you must be female? And vice versa?
@paulohernanndizz3506 Then you've proven my point, the traits are socially constructed ideas incidentally linked by tradition to the sexes
So basically just pressure a woman into not really having a career, that she MUST raise your kids? Aren't you a single father...and ADOPTED? The idea of even trying to nudge someone into something that comforts your ego isn't a good look, it's to a point that you have insecurities you're not working on, just repressing
wtf are you talking about? He literally said “Peggy needs to be a teacher and there’s nothing wrong with it” you just trying to be angry and attack you are the one who is insecure
@dirtyjerde13 lol at bro at this point I just let people talk. I’m like at no point do I want to pressure woman to do anything. My mans talked about me being a single father and adopted and I can’t be mad cause I shared that info with the world.. but now I see why people don’t
@@quizzyondemand I'm saying you seem to want to paint everything with your perspective instead of acknowledging everyone comes from their own and yours is a piece of it.
Do you think single fathers are also split in career and childrearing or is it different because you have a penis?
@@dirtyjerde13 Except then he generalizes career women while also acting like it's not because of using a fictional character as a counterpoint
@@ToHoldNothingdid your mother raise you? Was she forced?
Thanks!, that boi just isn't right, stinky hands, stinky fingers, lmao lmao
