Hi there, would be interested to test the Thomann Flugelhorns! Also have just ordered, yesterday from Thomann, the YTR 5335 gsii that is supposed to be bright but take it that it can be played mellow and the tone comes from the player! Thanks Thomann for a great deal and assistance in the advice given, all good!

I'm trying to learn how to sound like Chris Botti, its very hard! I try to achieve different sounds, love the Chet Baker smokey sound, also like to practice sounding like Louie Armstrong. I think it's good to be able to produce a wide variety of sounds!

Chaning mouthpiece to a bigger cup will help you acheive that sound. I cant sound like that on my bobby shew lead mouthpice, but with my thoman 7c, i can.

It did actually, not every single thing but the general concept of using different "techniques" to change your sound is concrete.
